Top10~ memorable moments in Naruto

Here's the list of the most memorable moments in whole manga with full explanation in details.

10) SHADOW CLONE JUTSU

I wanted to begin this list with something from the very first chapter, that also got me into the series. In the first chapter/episode, Naruto Uzumaki starts off as a troublemaking failure who just wants recognition since he has spent his life unaware why everyone hates him so much. He learns he is the container for the Ninetailed Demon Fox, and witnesses his teacher Iruka defend him from the crazed ninja Mizuki. Realising someone does care for him, Naruto uses a ninja move he learnt from a sacred scroll: Shadow Clone Jutsu. Summoning an army of clones, Naruto kicks Mizuki’s ass, and finally earns his headband and becomes an official ninja-in-training.

9) TEAM 7

Team Seven is made up of the manga’s main protagonists Naruto, Sasuke Uchiha, Sakura Haruno and their teacher Kakashi Hatake. There are a lot of flaws within the lead characters that effect their usefulness as a team and as individuals (i.e. Sasuke’s angsty jerkassery, Naruto’s habit of charging into fights headlong, Sakura being utterly useless for the first half of the manga). But together they work very well, and act as foils to each other with Kakashi being the quiet mediator.

It is through the first half of the manga where Naruto, Sakura, and Sasuke are at their best and while they butt heads, they are a fantastic tag-team-trio, even though Sakura sits on the sidelines while Naruto and Sasuke do the heavy hitting. After Sasuke leaves, Team Seven is reshuffled, with new members joining – namely the socially useless Sai, and Kakashi’s on and off replacement Captain Yamato who is frankly a very wooden character (ba-dum-bssht!)…he uses wood-based powers. Moving on.

8) AKATSUKI

If there is one thing I love, it is a team of supervillains and Akatsuki (Japanese for “Dawn”, “Daybreak” or even more brilliantly “Red Moon” if you know their true plan) were great fun. A group of rogue ninja, Akatsuki’s goal is to capture the nine Tailed Beasts, absorb them into a statue to create the legendary Ten-Tailed Beast and gain world domination by trapping mankind in an permanent illusion cast onto the moon.

Each member of Akatsuki is monster-like in some way or another – Sasuke’s brother Itachi who murdered his own family (for complicated reasons), shark-like Kisame who wielded a living sword, mad bomber Deidara, puppet master Sasori, black-and-white Zetsu, crazy death-worshipping Hidan, Kakuzu who can escape death by assimilating the hearts of others, Konan who uses origami-based weaponry, Pain and his army of clones, and their leader Tobi. Really great and memorable villains.

7) GAARA OF THE SAND

Perhaps one of the most compelling characters from Naruto was Gaara of the Sand. Essentially an anti-thesis to Naruto, Gaara is what might of happened to Naruto if he went mad rather than try to earn recognition, having another of the Tailed Beasts sealed inside him. Gaara starts off as a very creepy, sinister villain who just stares at people menacingly and using his sand powers to kill anyone he deemed a threat.

Naruto realised they were alike and they became friends, Gaara eventually become the Kazekage (leader) of the Sand Village and a very popular character in the manga. He probably goes through the best character development in the story, emphasized when he willing aids Naruto and co. in the attempt to retrieve Sasuke after he goes rogue. He forms strong bonds with his siblings Kankuro and Temari, and became commander of the Allied Shinobi Forces.

6) ROCK LEE

Rock Lee is one of the goofiest-looking characters in Naruto, but he is also one of the best. Sporting an unshakable sense of gusto and desire to be strong, Lee is unable to perform basic ninja techniques so instead puts all of his effort into becoming a master of taijutsu, which is primarily hand-to-hand combat. Lee’s story is that of an underdog, and he is one of the most pure-hearted characters, wanting to compete against everyone who is strong like Naruto, Sasuke, and his own teammate Neji Hyuga.

His finest moment has to be his battle against Gaara, using his martial arts and ability to boost his energy levels to overwhelm Gaara, who resorts to winning by breaking Lee’s left arm and leg. Being a trooper but facing the possibility he may never be a ninja again, Lee carries on and manages to do daily exercise even when on crutches. His limbs are eventually healed and leaps back into battle, still driven by his determination.

5) FOREST OF DEATH

The second arc of the long-running Chunin Exams (where the young ninjas can potentially go up the ranks via a big multi-part examination process), the Forest of Death is where all the kids had to act like adults and ninjas. Sent into an extremely dangerous forest with the mission to obtain scrolls from opposing teams and access a tower in the centre, it is no walk in the park for Team Seven. The trio encounter the evil Orochimaru, who curses Sasuke with the cursed seal for future purpose, and Naruto is eaten by a giant snake, leaving Sakura to defend her friends against enemy forces.

This is genuinely where Sakura has a very brief moment of awesomeness, and where some other supporting characters like Lee come to her aid. We also see a glimpse of nightmarish powers that Gaara possesses. The feel of isolation and dread is a major factor to the arc, along with the creepy villains, and the impossible odds the protagonists face – but it really does get the ball rolling for the rest of the story and the characters shift into places that will better or worsen them in approaching chapters.

4) SAKURA AND CHIYO VS. SASORI

There have always been polarising opinions on whether or not Sakura Haruno is a good protagonist and character. In the first half of the manga, Sakura was not very useful on the battlefield and often had to rely on Naruto and Sasuke. She eventually had an important haircut and decided to become independent. However, this goes nowhere until the second half of the manga, where Sakura trains under Lady Tsunade and becomes a skilled healer but gets great strength too.

This comes into good use when she battles the Akatsuki member Sasori and his army of puppets. Aided by Sasori’s grandmother Chiyo, Sakura battles Sasori in a lengthy fight, which comes to a spectacular close where Sakura delivers a superhuman punch that blows Sasori’s puppet body apart (though it takes a little more to kill him). The great part of this fight is that Sakura still is not a master of her skill and Chiyo’s old age make them both weaker than Sasori but their proper planning and co-ordination make this a kickass battle.

3) SASUKE AND ITACHI

Sasuke Uchiha was probably the character that bugged me the most in the story. I liked him in the first half of the manga where he served to be as a rival to Naruto but also his best friend, and you really felt sorry for him and understood why he was leaving to get revenge on his brother Itachi for murdering their clan. Itachi himself is a complicated character but very popular among the fanbase. In the second half, the story and reasons why Itachi killed his clan become a bit complicated but everything he did was for Sasuke’s sake and we see how much he hated doing what he had to do. Their repeated confrontations are very tense, emotional ones, but each one a different experience. The most exciting, aside from their fated battle, is where they unintentionally run into each other while Itachi hunts Naruto, with Itachi just crushing Sasuke and then forces him to relive the night he killed all of their family in a surreal, terrifying fashion via an illusion jutsu.

2) MINATO & KUSHINA

Japanese parents in manga and anime tend to be really good parents or complete monsters, or somewhere in-between. Naruto’s parents fit into the former category. Both died just after Naruto was born, giving their lives to protect their home from the Ninetailed Fox. The situation was a little complicated but basically Naruto’s mother Kushina was the previous host of the Fox and giving birth to Naruto could mean the fox would escape imprisonment. The presence of the evil Tobi also led to this outcome, ultimately forcing Kushina and Naruto’s father Minato, the Fourth Hokage of the Hidden Leaf Village, to sacrifice themselves to save their home but at the cost of Naruto becoming the new host for the fox.

Due to the obstructive leaders of the village, Naruto’s heritage was never revealed and he ended up spending a childhood alone with no idea who his parents were. He eventually met his parents after entering a subconscious battle with Kurama, learning of their past and sacrifice. Minato and Kushina are two of my favourite anime parents, and their heroic but tearjerking deaths are amongst the best moments in the manga.

1) THE SASUKE RETRIEVAL ARC

At the heart and centre of Naruto was the relationship between Naruto and Sasuke. Both coming from similar backgrounds, the two wanted to acknowledge each other as children but couldn’t because they were both stubborn. Years later they ended up on the same team, and became friends and rivals. But Sasuke’s desire for revenge caused a rift between them and an offer from Orochimaru to become stronger so he could kill Itachi led to Sasuke leaving the Hidden Leaf Village. After Sakura failed to stop him, it is Naruto’s turn up to the plate, leading to the best moment of the whole manga. A five-man team consisting of Naruto, Neji, Shikamaru Nara, Choji Akimichi, and Kiba Inuzaka are sent by Lady Tsunade to retrieve Sasuke and eliminate Orochimaru’s associates the Sound Four.

The group pursue Sasuke and the Sound Four, each splitting up to fight a member of the Sound Four. The battles are dramatic, action-packed but also tense and shocking, with most of the team suffering near-fatal injuries, while Naruto pursued Sasuke. Gaara and Rock Lee also arrived to lend a hand, and the arc ended in fantastic style with Naruto confronting Sasuke. The two friends have an epic clash in the Valley of the End, using all of their powers. Sasuke becomes embraces his cursed seal while Naruto draws out the power of the Ninetailed Fox, leading to a last attack using their most powerful attacks. In the end, Sasuke wins and spares Naruto, leaving him behind. The heroes lose. Not just a temporary loss but one that had an impact on their lives and relationships for years to come. How often do you see that in a story?

For the past fifteen years, Naruto has been a rollercoaster of a journey with its ups and down, highs and lows, and never ever questioned why no one in the story actually dresses like a ninja. I mean, come on, what ninja wears a bright orange jumpsuit? Naruto did, and it was worth every minute of it. Believe it!

this is by far the Top10 best memorable moments in whole manga.

I made good explanation with providing manga facts to support my thread

Manga facts? The title of your thread is top 10 memorable moments. Memorable meaning that we will remember them for the rest of our lives because of how awesome it was. No one gives a shit about Sakura's battle with Sasori or Naruto learning shadow clones, and I'm more than positive that 90% of the people on this base have forgotten that shit even existed.

>I don't see Gai going 8 gates in the list

>Where is Tobi revealed as Obito

>Naruto and Sasuke meeting the Sage

>Madara being resurrected with Edo Tenshi

Your list is garbage mate.

I don't think Gai going 8 gates deserves to be on anyones list solely because he didn't die after using it. If he died after using it, it would have be solidified as one of the most memorable parts in the series.

Yeah, I was disappointed when Naruto healed him. That was a cheap move on Kishi's part.

Maybe replace that with Asuma or Jiraiya's death?

Neji too.
