This is true. Sarada is a great character but Kishimoto is terrible with female characters. Her only hope is that the new editors are better with handling her, or at least use Temari or Konan as a reference to make a successful badass female character.

Konan. As badass as she was. Was a complete sheep. Using Nagato,Yahiko and then Naruto as her "bridges". Temari also just became a regular housewife? Don't think there's a female character without major negatives although Temari is probably the best you'll get.
