The only people bothered with the "Obito is Tobi revelation" were the ones who over-speculated because they thought that would be too easy or were uncomfortable with it being a kind Uchiha boy becoming that dark and instead wanted it to be someone like Izuna. Other than that, they were pretty fine with it and just made jokes about his motivation (but people do that with many things, like Sasuke's revenge methods, Naruto's motives of bringing Sasuke back, etc).
Kakashi's was random and unbelievable. Kishimoto just didn't care. The whole "chakra connects the two worlds" thing was way too convenient. If that's the case, why didn't various souls just leave the Pure World and take over a body for a short time to talk to loved ones? They have all eternity to develop a dimension-traveling jutsu if they're motivated in order to go back... why didn't some shinobi do that to finish their plans instead of all these elaborate schemes and manipulation that entailed high risk? Either way, it makes even less sense as with Nagato's, Itachi's, as well as the rest of the Edo Tensei- they made it clear that they didn't know what on earth had went on in the world of the living while they were dead. So, how did Obito automatically know that he'd be able to do that (he has shared vision with Kakashi even in the Pure World so he would be able to see the war, but how did he know this heaven to earth feat was possible... he just got the idea to try out of nowhere?). Rin also made an appearance and she has no jutsu we know of that is capable of transcending dimensions... and how did she know exactly when to appear?
I think Uchiha fans also were offended that Kakashi got PS so easily, and Naruto's comment of "It's even cooler than Sasuke's" followed by Sasuke's statement of "That's completely impossible!", didn't help either. :lol
But the entire final part of the war arc caused people to rage, whether it was a) Tobirama being fooled by Madara's clone despite him having created the technique, b) Black Zetsu trolling Indra and all power-hungry Uchiha by editing the tablet, c) The sage saying he can't interfere since destiny requires it remain between Indra and Ashura, d) Kaguya being the final villain and Black Zetsu her son who did all the talking, e) Black Zetsu being the true mastermind behind all evil in the series, f) Madara getting trolled right after telling off Obito, g) Obito getting told off by Madara, h) All the unneeded villain switches, i) The randomness of the Ootsuki clan plot points, j) The sage thinking it was a smart idea to leave behind a tablet not to follow detailed instructions... if you don't want people to follow something they don't know about, why would you leave a tablet behind telling them how to do it and then tell them not to?
But, I applaud Kishimoto for having such trolling ability. :th:
