What Madara is saying is that Naruto forcing him to block his punch had nothing to do with him not being fully recovered.

Whether or not Madara was fully healed, he would've been forced to block.

He actually quite surprised at Naruto to be able to push him like that by his punch even though Madara was a JJ. At first he think it bcus he still not recovered yet but even though he still not completely recovered, Naruto in front of him should not be able to push him that hard bcus he was a JJ Madara think. Only guy have a might to do that.

Naruto at the time he make a come back, Madara still think he just a same normal Naruto he killed before but after he get that kind of powerful punch he realized that this was not bcus of his injury not recovered yet but Naruto is entirely different person
