After Itachi awaken his MS it took him ages to master Tsukami(that got broken by 3t Sharingan) and Susanoo when Obito mastered Kamui the first time he awakened his MS and Sasuke mastered Amaterasu the next day he awakened his MS and according to Itachi he mastered Susanoo very early and created Kagutsuchi in the battle according to the databook.

Kakashi used Perfect Susanoo the first time he got DSM(something that Itachi didn't show even as an edo) and he didn't die!!!

But when Itachi used Armored Susanoo he died like a fodder:

no. the requirements to be able to handle tsukuyomi is sharingan and UCHIHA bloodline. like sasuke.

time-tsukuyomi > kakashi, nagato, naruto, kabuto (instant mind rape if hit)

Pure spec:

I bet OP is on to something in that Itachi's death probably was going to be due to Susanoo overuse, and this was going to be something that Sasuke would have to face, that Susanoo/MS overuse would kill him (instead of just potentially blinding him). But then Kishi wanted to draw more Susanoo versions, and he wanted to go beyond what Itachi had, especially for hyping up Madara, so he changed it to MS overuse being the problem (blinding you), and making Susanoo not the problem by having Itachi's death instead be due to illness.

Itachi didn't have the body to use the Mangekyo's full power like a transmigrant, but that doesn't make him the worst MS user. In fact he's known to be one of the best Sharingan users because he knows how to conserve chakra and fight efficiently, the fact Obito never tried to contact Sasuke while Itachi was alive proves how strong he really was.

The point of that spec wasn't to argue that Itachi was ever intended to be or was meant to be portrayed as the worst MS user. I was just wondering about the reasoning behind Kishi's portrayal.

And when I say that it was possibly intended to be that Susanoo overuse kills, I mean that that would have applied to everyone, not that Itachi was meant to look weaker than others.

Susanoo was a crazy powerful jutsu and remains so, so it's possible that initially Kishi meant for the restrictions on using it to be much tighter, and would have applied that to "everyone" (gamebreakers like Madara would have obviously broken the restrictions to show how strong they were, which is kind of what happened). But then he changed his mind (again, this is all pure spec) and decided to lift Susanoo restrictions in order to make Sasuke's evolve a bunch and also to have the PS forms be possible.

I'm saying Itachi at the point that he died was an experimental phase for Kishi, in trying to work out how he wanted all these jutsus to operate later in the manga. And afterwards, he decided to delimit them in order to do all these other cool things with Susanoo and Mangekyos instead.

I agree that Susano'o would kill anyone, Sasuke mentioned how it took a physical toll on his body. I think that claim also suggests the Mangekyo in general can affect someone's stamina because of the sheer power of the chakra, like Nagato losing his life force from Rinnegan overuse.

Karin compared Sasuke's chakra to Curse Level 2 which would mean MS users have chakra as potent as Senjutsu, what's more interesting is that Oro's disciples already told Sasuke that Senjutsu would corrode the user's body, that would explain why Uchihas lose their eyesight.

In addition, Sasuke mentioned he could feel Itachi's power after the transplant, as we know EMS grants the transmigrant Indra's eye power and Indra had Rikudou chakra which is a variant of Senjutsu.

That would imply that Itachi's chakra was strong enough to give Sasuke the chakra potency of high level Senjutsu which Uchihas don't have the body to cope with, so Itachi most likely died because his chakra was too powerful for a non-transmigrant to handle like non-Uchiha dying from overusing dojutsu.

Not to invalidate you but honestly it seems like Itachi died from a disease?
