Only reason naruto can't escape I.T is because he is dumb...the type to continue using chakra based skills against someone who absorbs chakra.

If Kishi didn't wank the Uchiha and actually concentrate on the protagonist's own clan history, I'm sure there would have been an OP Uzumaki Fuuinjutsu (Seal) that could have protected him from IT.

But Kishi would rather cater to the Uchiha than his own hero's clan which got little to no mention throughout the entire story. Missed opportunity that.

It's no wonder the protagonist wasn't an Uchiha. Their clan had more history and development than any other clan in the manga. Should just went with Sasuke for the protagonist of this was going to be how it was.

@Bold that doesn't even sound possible though. And yea the Uchiha had more history, the show was somewhat about them and their past. And all Uchiha's was final villains except Kaguya/Pain.

Look kid with plot all things are possible. Tomorrow Kishimoto could pick up his pen and give Naruto the power to turn his victims into fried chicken, ending world hunger if he wanted to, but here we believe in feats and LOGICAL EXPLANATION.

We have a general idea of how MT works, and Naruto doesn't have anything in his arsenal to defend against it. Accept it and move on

Nope :sdo: MT uses Senjutsu chakra, and MT pierces shadow.

The only reason that Sasuke can counter it is Rinnegan can defend against Rinnegan Genjutsu

If u mean how Hamura countered IT.... well there is no proof that he was ever exposed to it. Hamura could have very well been in another dimension when the jutsu was cast.

How? Even sasuke with his susanoo would have been caught in IT if he didn't cover himself with it. Now Hagoromo and Hamura don't have susanoo, and they weren't caught in it so how did they counter it? There's no proof he wan't. He was fighting his mom with his brother, what dimension?

With no proof you can't exactly say what happened. All you can say is that after casting the Jutsu and fusing with the Tree Kaguya became the Juubi and Hagoromo and Hamura fought her. You don't know when the fight started whether before or after MT and u don't really know if they were exposed to MT seeing how Kaguya apparently had homes in multiple dimensions.

Also what helps against MT is the power of Rinnegan (not exactly susanoo. ) chances are any chakra based technique connected with his rinnegan might have worked
