Luffy said he won't engage in physical combat. Plus the minks are allied with the SHs to beat kaido not Mom. Thus if it ever gets to the point of luffy vs BM, then minks own them nothing as far as i understood

Sure you have apoint, but the minks have no obligation to help him as an alliance for his fight against BM even if he picks one thus pekmos wouldn't have to choose between his fam and BM
