If he used Izanagi would he be brought back to the NV dimension or be brought back to the moment he got thrown in a alternate dimension??

No, that's reaching outside the limits of the technique.

It has limited S/T properties based on how Danzo used it to escape attacks, but I doubt that extends to trans-dimensional S/T. If using Kamui to move between Kaguya's dimensions drained Obito so much, I gotta doubt that an Izanagi user would be able to do it at all.

I'm sure Danzo would have used Izanagi to escape Sasuke entirely if the S/T was that potent.

Izanangi as far what we know is the way/technique to cheat/escape from death.

Get teleport to other places by Amenominaka will not kill you unless the place you get teleport into kill you e.g melt by Lava or Acid.

Another thing, Izanagi will only resurrect you at the place you die, thats mean you still inside the chosen dimension(Ice,Lava or Acid).

You will not get transfer into earth dimension.

Naah, since he will be brought back in the same dimension, but he can use izanagi to create a portal back to earth (izanagi can be applied in different ways since basically illusion turns to reality, its not limited to revival) izanagi was nerfed
