There's not much difference between Infinite Tsukuyomi and Itachi's Tsukuyomi...

Both was able to warp the reality of their "dream world" itself:
(Is Itachi really the only person who's able to warp time in this instance??)

Both possess the requirements of having similar chakra to break or dispel from:
(Well Kaguya's and Hagoromo's chakra is similar. Which in this case Madara and Sasuke possess.)

Only major differences is that Infinite Tsukuyomi is used on an planetary scale and lasts an eternity lol Other than that, they are pretty much the same thing.

Itachi's tsukyomi can't work on bijuu jins, Itachi's tsykyomi continously drains his stamina to keep it going. Itachi's tsukyomi isn't planetary, Itachi's Tsukyomi can be broken out of, Itachi's must control what happens in his tsukyomi unlike the sekf sufficient infinite tsukyomi, Itachi's tsukyomi requires eye contact, etc. Unlike Infinite Tsukyomi of course, nothing but facts :bdpf:

They aren't the same much at all, sure they're both genjutsu caused by a users dojutsu, but the dojutsu that causes these genjutsu are very different. The normal Tsukuyomi is caused by a Mangekyo Sharingan, or EMS Sharingan and can only effect one person, while effecting this person, it causes them to see a genjutsu chosen by the caster, (so not a random happy dream), and the effect is instantaneous. With the Infinite Tsukuyomi, everyone on the planet is effected. It is activated by the ShaRinnegan, which can only be acquired through Sage of the Six Paths chakra or becoming the ten-tails host, and how it works is that the Divine Tree cocoons the population while trying to change them into zetsus and while doing this, it shows them their dreamworld.

Infinite tsukuyomi can't control time, tsukuyomi can.
A person dreams max. 4-6 seconds, but we see hours of stories sometimes,so IT could have to do with time manipulation in dreams.
4-6 seconds dream irl=long story sometimes right?
Edit:OPs that's not true LOL
Bad informations buddies

But infinite tsukuyomi is a genjutsu that shows illusions that mimick desires it isn't like a real dream. An example is when kakashi placed the root ANBU in an illusion

Kakashi used genjutsu to make them dream, it doesn't mean he has time manipulation.

That wasn't tsukyomi. Nice try though he was activating the crow inside Naruto to come out. Naruto didn't even have Kurama's full cooperation. Are you implying that lord Itachi Negs RSM Naruto :Sparks:

Read naruto's convo with Bee who is Perfect Jin
Even basic sharingan can control perfect Jins aka Obito controlling yagura

Um. That's when the beast isn't cooperating with you. Kagura abd the 3 tails obvioysly were not on good terms if he was controlled by Obito at the time.. Once again, nice try, trying to omit manga facts to jistify your claim with an manga fact that doesn't support you, I see you :Sparks:

with Tsukuyomi, the victim was aware that they were experiencing an illusion. Such wasn't the case with IT at all, because the victim wasn't aware that they were living out an entirely different existence in an illusion. So they're not the same thing.
