Violence is part of human nature. It has and will always exist. Individual or social gains depend on the reason. It takes a great deal of studying the root of problem to explain it, but it lacks a solution.

Don't take someone seriously when they say, ''religion is the cause of violence.'' These people have difficulties analysing the nature of violence.

Guess the OP was useless because everyone is throwing around their opinion.
Why don't I be the first to actually try?

, then you're looking for Norepinephrine, Epinephrine, then Catecholamine , in that order, all secreted by the amygdala of the brain. In the same order, they , , then finally .

So if you wanted to control a population inhibit violence by removing the endocrinological triggers, then this is what you search for.

That's merely the biochemical reaction to a circumstance. It can only be triggered by environmental causes. Also we're not trying to control anyone. Changing our biological makeup is not the answer but a change in environment and values that makes violence obsolete.

Looking at current scenario, answer is Oil.
The root of that desire being a scarcity of the supply which fuels greed to seek abundance of it at the expense of others. So you could say the root of violence is scarcity of the things we need to live. This kicks in our survival instincts which is only out for self preservation which results in violence.

So the root of the problem is scarcity but with a monetary system promoting it. Violence isn't going nowhere unless we change the way we live and that will take a major shift in conciousness.

That's also the biochemical trigger to violence. If you do not have this uptake of hormones, then you will not get angry, tensed up, and ready for action.

True but the trigger is caused by outside circumstances. You won't tense up or get angry without a reason outside of you, assuming you're a normal functioning human.
