Theres really nothing to comprehend on this matter. Sasuke realized it first and blocked it with his Sisano'o. Pretty sure that was a gamble on his part. Naruto didnt even see it coming. And there was no need to rush out as he would get caught like Sasuke said. However he does have the other half of Hagos power and each 9tailed beasts chakra(needed to undue the spell).

Since TSB come from the overflow of Six Paths Senjutsu, it should be able to shield him. Its far from a stretch to think it can.

He didn't show shit. Or did you miss the part where Sasuke said 'maybe'? It was an assumption on Sasuke's part. All that was implied by all of that is that they didn't know- plain and simple. Nobody on these forums knows for a fact so shut the fuc k up.

Omnyudon should work, not tsb alone.

Onmyoudon wouldn't work genjutsu isn't a physical attack, but TSb should be able to counter because it's contains Yin which is what is used to cast light

now unless there is a scan or somewhere saying tsb shield can help protect from IT, it remains fanfiction so dont say its a counter

there were ppl who were in buildings and they got snatched into the genjutsu, presumably without ever being directly exposed to the light. Hiding in a TSB wouldn't help somebody escape it any more than hiding under a king-sized bed would.

He didnt clearly state the that was the only way. It leaves a chance for readers to speculate.

What he clearly stated was how Sasuke defended them and his solution.

No it's not. Even if it was though, it doesn't matter. Onymoudon, which is what nullifies the techniques, not the Truth-Seeking Spheres themselves, is stated to not work against sage chakra.

DB confirms TSB can appear when someone is overflowing with Six Paths Senjutsu. It is a Six Path Senjutsu tech.


The only reason I see Narutos TSB blocking the light is because of the 9 bijuu chakras he has needed to cast and undue IT. Naruto literally has half the key to that Genjutsu, both to activate it and deactivate it.

Just completely cover yourself in one or two? Light cant possibly get in considering it's darker than a PS.

So people are still confused and think that the genjutsu is really all about optics and the properties of light and polarization. Listen , infinite tsukuyomi's light is not normal light. It won't get blocked out just because something is dark or thick. The reason that Sasuke's susanoo was able to block out the light is because Sasuke has rinnegan and because the susanoo was rinnegan powered. It is not because the susanoo was dark. In other words , even if Itachi or Shisui had perfect susanoo (canonically) , they still wouldn't be able to resist the genjutsu since they don't have rinnegan.

Remember , the light of the genjutsu pierces everything. It even penetrated buildings with no windows and affected people who were sleeping.

Finally , think about this.

Why on earth would Kishi make the ultimate genjutsu that was hyped up for hundreds of chapters so weak that it can just be blocked by something dark? That is about as stupid as making it avoidable by closing your eyes!

and Finally you Know IT was casted by madara who was fuelled with Senjutsu thus IT more less has Senjutsu chakra and thus its light will bypass TSB even Onmyoudon with with ease
