7/10 as a general movie.
10/10 as a comic book movie.

So many amazing things. Had such a comic book feel to it. I cried a little. Seen it twice. The first third of the movie is pretty boring but when it picks up, it just doesnt stop.

I urge you to ignore the critics and see it and form your own opinion. My friend who doesnt read the comics loved it.

It's not even close to a good comic book movie.

I think so. The events that take place and moments gave off such a comic book feel.

The plot of the movie could have been a major comic book storyline.

Fixed it ;)

But seriously, glad you enjoyed it Naruto&Itachi and RedRobin! As long as at least one person enjoyed the movie, that makes me happy.

No. I'm one of the rare people who wasn't going to see the movie to begin with. From the trailers and what it is based on just didn't appeal to me at all. So, I already wasn't going. Then the reviews came in and, well, the rest is history. I'm shocked by the negativity and that this move seems to have failed critically or at least didn't deliver as most hoped, so to see some people like it or even love it, makes me happy. I hate to see a movie just fail.

But that is why I don't say anything about the movie without joking or stressing apparently or whatever. I'm a bystander in this one as I won't be seeing this one.

That sucks. I really do recommend you go see it. I feel you will miss out if you dont go.

YES it has its problems, not a perfect 10 but its not a 33% or even 48%. Critics are so wrong with this one.

Yeah, it feels weird. The first superhero movie I missed in the past few years was Ant-Man. Long story short, I love Hank Pym and they went with Scott Lang instead and made a potentate tragic/deep/love story into a comedy. Not for me. This movie is the same. It just isn't for me. I despise Dark Knight Returns and hate that they are using Doomsday and, from the trailers, the movie looks like a crowded mess. Eventually, I'll catch it down the road like I did Ant-Man, but yeah, just not my cup of tea.

It isn't just the critics though. Now, the world has seen it and it is still getting negative reactions. I will say that maybe the critics were too harsh with some wording, but hey, that is their opinion. This movie is certainly divided though. Some HATE it, some are meh (which is as bad as hate it because DC needs hasn't had a hit movie, critically. Having this big film get an overall meh-hate is not a good start), and some LOVE it.

Anyway, excited for Suicide Squad. Feels weird to say I'm not seeing BVS, but am SS. Little kid me would be so confused.

Sadly if Ant-Man wasnt a comedy it probably wouldnt have done so well at the box office. Still enjoyed it regardless though.

Let me say I hate DKR too. Was never a fan, just too off for me and gosh the art is something I cannot get through. But I still loved this movie. If anything you should go for just Wonder Woman because people in theaters went nuts for her. Rightfully so.

I am so glad SS is the third movie in this universe. Its crazy but its awesome.

Same. I enjoyed Ant-Man despite my issues. Not what I wanted at all, but what I got wasn't bad. I hope and think if I see BVS, I'll get the same reaction. (Side note regarding reviews. I just looked at Twitter and it seems more positive stuff is coming out. Still insanely divided, but you're boat of "it's good" is getting bigger. That's great. Maybe this movie still has hope.)

That art! I hate that art so bad lol I hate that Batman so much. I hate the idea of them fighting. I hate what they did with Catwoman. I hate it all, but I hate the art the most.

Eh, I like WW, but she isn't a seller for me. My biggest reason for wanting to see it is Lex. He just seems so whacky! He seems NOTHING like the Lex I want, but I like Jesse E. and hey, whacky Lex could be fun! I have my serious one in the cartoons, so an alternative that I think I would like sounds good.

I'm a huge fan of Deadshot, so to him to have been in the Arkham series, in Arrow, and now SS (and played by Will Smith, who I love), that is the best.

I have a question for you. Is Superman more like Superman in BVS? I LOVED Man of Steel, but my biggest thing was "Superman wasn't Superman." Made sense because it is his origin and he'll, hopefully, be more like fun, colorful, good hearted self in future movies. Is he this way in BVS?

Bruh stop checkin in on me and make another tutorial on how to animate I want to start up my Avengers x Naruto ish

Whats that supposed to mean?

I'm curious to hear what other people think about it. You expressed your lack of sympathy for this movie multiple times and each time said you have yet to watch it.

I want to hear as many different sides as possible as Im planning to write a review myself.

I cant say much without spoiling but it does have a lot of focus on Clark's relationship to Lois and how she makes him human. But Superman does do something that is very him from the comics.
If you do end up seeing it then tell me what you thought.

LOL at anyone who thinks this was better than Iron Man, Spider-Man 2, Winter Soldier, Avengers, The Dark Knight trilogy, Flashpoint Paradox, Under the Red Hood, Batman Beyond: Joker Returns, Justice League: War, The Dark Knight Returns and Escape From Arkham. Hell, even Son of Batman and The Amazing Spider-Man 2 was better.

It was better than Avengers, Amazing 2 and Escape from Arkham + Son of Batman was crap.

Not sure how you can even compare them though since half of those are cartoons rather than actual movies.
