Greetings From Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man!

Don't really like writing anything this long while working on ye ol fanfic so you can thank the bae iNoto for this xd Now to start this off I just want to address a few things. I have seen thousands of films b. I don't take this shit for play play. I gets down and durty with the film game. From 4k to 3d I'm about this life. This list is completely unbiased and these films will be judged on a very critical scale. The scales I will use is a 4 score themes. Though I will rate these films on a 10 score system. The four themes will be Cinematography, Plot, Acting, and Effects quality. Now without further ado. My Top Ten Movheeees.

10. Boyhood (2014)

You must be registered for see images

When I first heard about this I was like "Yo why make a movie centered around a boy growing up when you're just going to have to use different actors throughout time and it's gonna be boring as shit because they wont approach any real themes." Lol man did I eat my words.

Cinematography
- One thing I want to note is that this film has may strong points. Really engaging camera angles as you get a good look at a lot of the casts reactions during scenes such as the step father drunk at the dinner table. It really hits you how you get the reaction of everyone reating at once with the sound of him screaming in the background and all. Shots such as the ending and beginning scenes are what really carries this thing through to make ti to my top 10. A great shot goes a long way with people and can leave a great after effect. You see him as he is young laying and the grass and as a man staring at the world.

Plot - Another strong point here and man this is where this movie shines. To think a person actually accomplished filming a family for 12 years. It's amazing man and he does it in a way that you are seeing his life but through the actor. It's so crazy how many times I was going "damn I really relate to this" "Damn I remember when I was getting my **** sucked in the back of...." Ok getting off topic again xd anyways there is a lot for a guy (And girls cuz of the sister) to relate too. Especially parents being that the mom went through so much with these two. There is a very painful scene near the end too with her screaming her feelings. Wont spoil it for those who haven't seen it but man.... tears under the cheeks guys. Only thing I didn't think we needed was a better ending because pot brownies was not the best way to go out. Like really man. Pot brownies *sigh*

Acting - Phenomenal. Felt like a ****ing Documentary. Everything felt natural as hell it's like man I just don't understand why they are this damn good even in the beginning!? Geez I was expecting a bit of a gap in the acting range but everything is so constantly good. The expressions are as accurate as ever in each situation and good god is everyone so natural lol

Effects
- Nothing to note here. What I will do is talk about the music in this section. The music was a good pick until they got to playing Soldier Boy. Like what the hell lol I understand you needed to bring in the new age but.... actually this is a great representation of the new age of these peeps moving on. The final rating for this masterpiece is a

9/10

9. Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope (1977)

You must be registered for see images

Shouldn't even need to explain why but lol ok here we go (This was made in 1977??? Good grief)

Cinematography - Every shot is a damn masterpiece. I mean come on everything just screams out majestic space opera epic. Here are a few scenes that gave me a bo... I mean goosebumps. (Also wanna note that when watching a movie, if you haven't had that goosebumps feeling... You're not watching the right kind of movies or either you need help because it is the greatest feeling lol if I were to put it in one word I would call it a filmgasm)

Plot - Now back in the day as a kid I really wasn't into Star Wars. It wasn't until I got older and actually heard that Disney had bought Star Wars. Around that time I had googled Star Wars and saw how high of praise it had and such so I was like well I got the time so let's check it out. Hooked from the start lol The opening credits bring you into the story and you sit through a movie about rescuing a princess. Of all things that was the plot and it was so well done I couldn't even be mad at it's originality. At the end of the day they created a Universe my loves. Aliens of different races and planets to explore.

Acting - Natural. A word that will be in every single one of my Top 10 because if the acting is bad it already failed my test from the get go. You have to be about this actin life yo. And these actors in this movie live breath and eat that shit on the daily because it's fluid. It's chemistry these three main cast and I loved every second they were on screen. Luke was my favorite to watch because it's just awesome to see him learn and grow.

Effects - Leap forward. A complete awe inspiring experience that wasn't seen in anything in 1977. I mean looking at this in Blu Ray I'm just wondering how in the hell did they upscale this so damn good. I mean damn technology you scary :nono: LOL But back to the point I'm trying to make which is that this movie is revolutionary. The cast, the music is ****ing perfect, the sounds are iconic, and every scene will inspire you.

10/10

8. Pulp Fiction

You must be registered for see images

Cinematography - Tarantino is one of if not the best director in Hollywood yo. This guy is just a master at what he does and it's beautiful seeing this mans work on screen. The camera work in this thing is so well done and everything is damn near perfect down to the t man. For instance the scene where we have Samuel L. cussin at the dude in a chair. He is taking his burger and drinkin his shit. Every singel one of those angles was just perfect. And they were just talking. I have never been drawn in by simpler things like this but hey, that Tarantino for you.

Plot - As we all know this is an assortment of chapters that take place in the same universe but happen at different periods of time. Every single one of these chapters is a new kind of classic. From the The Diner Part 2 to Vincent Vega & Marcellus Wallace's Wife. These scenes draw you in with a godly form of dialogue that even I don't believe is possible for one to achieve without some sort of gift.

Acting - Some of the best acting you will ever witness on screen.Just all the natural characteristics of each of these people is so outlandish yet its settling. It's like you're really getting to know the person through just the speeches that these people are dishin out. It's amazing.

Effects - That dude getting shot in the head was pretty damn awesome :lmao: Other than that there isn't many special effects so I'll get straight to the music. Buy the soundtrack. Now. The picture quality is worth the blu ray purchase as well it's an amazing transition. This film is one of the best no doubt whatsoever.

10/10

7. Captain America: The Winter Soldier

You must be registered for see images

Cinematography - What a surprise this film was. I went to go see this on my birthday I believe and I had absolutely no expectations for this thing. Hell I wasn't even much of a cap fan, but after seeing this. Not only was I a fan, but I wanted more. The way these scenes are built up from the beginning there is so much tension rising. Each action scene better than the last as it leads up to this shot of all the ships being blow apart and man is it just goosebumping! So many poster worthy shots gonna post any I can find for you loves!

This is only a few and not even the best ones IMO (Just to lazy to do it myself tbh xd) And the camera work in that shot were Steve is falling in the water... I'll speak on that in the effects section.

Plot - So in this Comic Epic we have Steve Rogers up against hydra after its invasion through S.H.I.E.L.D. He then comes across The Winter Soldier who has his mind set on one mission. To capture him. Now I guess you could call The WInter Soldier the villain in this but really there is no great villain its so much more than that. It's a war story that is just so enriched with feelings and emotions that I just can't put into words with all the tears on my keyboard. If you are into political war type of stuff this film is definitely for you.

Acting
- I mean what is there to say here. Everyone fits their roles perfectly. Chris Evans is Captain America.

Effects - Trying to rush to this one for a reason lol Now want to start off with the action scenes. Top notch. Everything feels like it was ripped from the comics and Falcon feels like a natural addition to the cast. Hope he gets more shine in Civil War. Of course with the action there needs to be good music and with this film.... they ****ing deliver us some of the best feels music ever. You will cry at the end. If you don't cry dammit you will feel something because the ending is just so beautiful. I am telling you now. Go watch this. Or I will send the Winter Soldier after you and your entire family =D

10/10

6. Guardians Of The Galaxy (2014)

You must be registered for see images

Cinematography - Again, I walked into the theater with absolutely no expectations. I. Was. Amazed. Like when I left the theater it's like I had never felt so damn enriched with laughter and joy my entire life lol. It was a great feeling hope you all had that same feel. So we start this movie off on the highest not possible with a dance number by Peter Quill. Best dancing montage ever man it was a sight to see. Just the execution brings joy to your every cell it makes you just want to get up and start dancing with him. And these shots of the galaxy are just perfect. You are getting everything in the most natural fashion imaginable. I mean they could make a movie with the camera just going through these still shots and I would pay to see it lol. Also the action scenes are just so memorable. You really do feel as if they are fighting for something. (Not that you don't feel it in any other of Marvel films it's just to a very, very high degree here.) It's very overwhelming with the way they place each shot to give you that feel factor. Goosebumpin inducing!!!

Plot
- This movie has created the Marvel Cinematic Universe and painted it's name with the stars yo. The way they tell this space epic is just... it's hard for me to explain lol I guess you could say they are trying to keep the infinity stone form Ronin and it leads to a various amount of event in which you grow to care about every single character in this thing. You grow to love them and it's because the plot flows together well.

Acting - Everyone did a damn amazing job. I was a bit worried on Batista's behalf but even he did great and was pretty hilarious too. Everyone's execution with their jokes in this thing is flawless you are bound to be laughing your ass off at the jokes. But when it gets serious with the feels. It gets SERIOUS. Good God was there so many heart wrenching scenes in this thing. WIthout the great acting capabilities these actors have there is no way you would have felt it.

Effects - WHOOOOOO! 4K at its finest!!!!!!!! I know it's not that quality in Blu ray but MAAAAAN it was shot in 4k and shown in 4k at the theater and man was it a deeeeeelight! I would that extra 30 bucks just to own this in 4k even thought the (In my opinion) superior 3d version is out. If you had to pick to see any of these Marvel movies in 3d this is the one to see (almost) the most. The CGI is just top notch material I haven't seen anything this natural since Avatar. Jeez I know it must've cost a pretty penny for this one but I know damn well in the end it was worth it. Going to support the hell out of the nex one because it's not everyday people decide they want to make movies like this. It's with things like this that you really start to appreciate what these people are giving you and to not support it just seems so wrong in my book. I understand if you don't have the money then by all means do what you have to just to see it but if you can spare the 20 or even 30 bucks then help support what you love.

10/10

5.Marvel's The Avengers (2012)

You must be registered for see images

Cinematography
- Was so hard picking what order to put these three Marvel films that I had to push this thread from like 2 days ago till today just to think on it. When it come to this film there isn't any faults in my eyes. This movie has replayability. And when a movie has replayability it has a STRONG hand. It has to do with the scenes too. Everything is stitched up nice and perfect so you get to see everyone come together onto the helicarrier. The shots leading up to even that point are damn amazing such as one of my favorite ones here <3

You must be registered for see images

Put Spider-Man in that picture and then we can solo the universe :Sparks:

Plot - So in this Comic Epic The Avengers are up against Loki who is trying to take over Earth. Now this plot is so straightforward and depends solely on execution. And the execution was grand. Like I said before everything is stitched together so perfectly it's like a symphony of superhero epicness. Everyone gets their own time to shine and it feels as if it's needed rather than feeling like just a setup. THough through this film it sets up so much more that is going to happen in the future films. This is what started so much greatness that awaits us.

Acting - The cast is flawless in pretty much every pick. From Tony Stark to Nick Fury I just can't picture them being played by anyone else now. The jokes are executed well though not as many as Guardians you still leave with that same feeling of joy. In the intense scenes such as the ending you feel for that character as he falls. Trying to reach his significant other though he doesn't get a hold of her. The power in that scene was just so well and I have to give the MVP medal of this film to Robert Downey because he just kills it man.

Effects - WHOOOO these are some awesome effects. Can not believe the detail that they have Hulk in I was just amazed by that at the first watch. And the action scenes my goodness can it get any better than this? (Other than that ending scene in age of ultron that is hands down the best)

The music, the action, the acting. Everything just flows together to make this the most perfect true to the comics film to date. And people keep asking why these Marvel films are being stated as better then The Dark Knight. That film is not a hero film. It isn't even about Batman half of the time it's focusing on the villians. The thing with DC is that instead of sticking to the comics, they go off and make a detective film. The Dark Knight is one of the best detective films but best hero movie? Don't even try me.

10/10

4. Kill Bill Vol. 1 (2003)

You must be registered for see images

Cinematography
- Flawless Victory. Stellar. Moving. Gripping. Ruthless. The best Cinematography I have ever seen. Loved every second of this film. The replayability is ****ing endless. If you haven't seen this movie I really can't accept your movie cred. I mean c'mon this is a Tarantino film for christ sakes if you haven't seen it what the hell lol. Can't imagine my life without this movie anymore. Every scene will draw your attention. It's fluidity is perfect as the movies length is only 1 hour and 51 minutes it's run time is just so perfect. What other word can I use I mean it's the only way I can describe this piece of art lol The fighting scenes like oh my god this beats Avengers by a mile. I don't think any of the superhero movies will have this level of quality and the only thing that has even reached this level is the end scene of Age of Ultron when everyone is fighting in a circle. Other than that man this movie has action by the balls. It's not playing around. It's rough, it's gritty and it's bloody. It's a whole bloody affair. Then you have the beginning scene with The Bride just all bloody good God it starts off kicking you in the feels. Every chapter of this movie is just so memorable it's like Tarantino is Gawd of this film game or somethin b. I just can't explain it any other way. Revenant almost got into the Top 10 but this film is just a much better experience overall.

Plot
- It's a revenge story that is split up into several chapters.

2

The blood-splattered BRIDE

The Origin of O-Ren

The MAN From OKINAWA

Showdown at House of Blue Leaves

God even just looking at the titles gives me feels. Anywho she is on a killing spree to kill five targets that I shall not tell you for if you have not seen this I don't want to ruin your first play through. A first playthrough in a movie is very important. Now the way these chapters are set up it's in a way you are getting the mc's perspective and the final bosses background. It's in a way that in the final showdown you are rooting for The Bride yet feeling for the person on the other end of the blade as well.

Acting - Everyone on the main cast needs an Oscar for this one it's just scary how natural this feels. Like the fighting the staring down the movement of each actor is so poster worthy. Tarantino did you sell your should because damn man xd Uma Thurman did an amazing job as The Bride and you REALLY get to sympathise with her character. Lucy Liu can just marry me. Michael Madsen has like one line in this volume yet he manages to give me goosebumps. I mean his one line alone makes you want to pick up Vol. 2 after seeing this.

Effects - Now with this film they were going for a tradition Japanese martial arts feel. And damn do they do it justice. Can not believe the amount of blood effects they managed to get so perfectly I know this had to take sooo much time and effort to get it done this way. Thank God for this film to be honest lol Because the music here is just perfect. PERFECTION is what this movie should be nicknamed. How the hell is each track of the soundtrack so damn perfect. The japanese band is a great addition as well and I can't believe I'm saying that. This man made me like a Japanese band. *sigh* I just can't tell you anymore it will make you cry it's so beautiful. I mean just look at these still shots.

3. Inception (2010)

You must be registered for see images

Cinematography - Now Christopher Nolan makes good movies just not very faithful to the comics area of things. Have to say this was another thing I went into with no expectations. The payoff was just so grand. Leonardo DiCaprio did not get an oscar for this yo. This movie. This one. I mean out of all the movies he had bodied he doesn't get one for this masterpiece!? I mean c'mon yo. He owns every scene he is in. There is action, there is tension in these shots it's just amazing how the movie flows together with the lore bringing you along for the trippy dreamscape ride.

Plot - So basically Leo/Cobb is on a mission to plant an idea into the mind of a powerful business man whose father has passed everything onto. To do this he needs help and is accompanied by various team mates to help him achieve the goal. Now to plant this idea they need to do it through dreams. So within a dream they go into another. And another. Really don't know how this plot came about but this is some next level imagination. Hope to see more Nolan films like this and Interstellar in the future because man do you just leave the movie thinking.

Acting - Top notch in this department. Actually the first time I seen Ellen Page on screen and I have to say she can get the... I mean she did a terrific job just wonderful really. Joseph Gordon-Levitt was damn amazing as always and Tom Hardy does great as well. Its Ken Watanabe who really suprised me at the end with the feels yet Leonardo DiCaprio justs sets the bar so high for a Nolan MC. I mean his acting is just remarkable. Goosebumps off of looks alone. The speeches he gives and the impression he makes you really believe he's some sort of brilliant architect.

Effects
- Heart Pounding and awe inspiring I think are the best ways to explain these effects. For instance the train that comes out of freaking no where and make you jump out of your seat and spill your popcorn LOL Then there are the dream visuals such as the car scene and the landscapes that REALLY shine here. But aside from the amazing visuals there is the music score by Hans. This guy always does an amazing job with these and one of if not his best one is on this very film.

10/10

2. Spider-Man 2

You must be registered for see images

Cinematography - In my opinion the best superhero film to date. I mean everyone pretty much agrees that this is the best Spider-Man movie created. The amount of weight this thing carried on it's back was pretty high because after a great first film how were they going to accomplish freaking dock ock? Dude has mechanical arms how could this work in 2004? Well hell they did it and it in the best way possible. The Amazing Spider-Man isn't even half as good as this film. The Spider-Man scenes are damn amazing. The beginning really brings you into Peter's everyday life in a good Spidey fashion and there really is an awesome amount of poster worthy shots here as well.

You must be registered for see images

You must be registered for see images

You must be registered for see images

You must be registered for see images

Plot - Man there is a lot going on with Peter in this one lol I guess to put it lightly Peter is up against not only Doc Ock but also fighting against himself, his relationship with Mary Jane, His friendship with Harry, his career and having to be Spider-Man. It's a lot of stuff to handle in a movie and they do it VERY well here. Instead of ****ing up everything in The Amazing Spider-Man 2, here they give it so much weight and you really are feeling the weight of all that Peter is going through here. Don't want to spoil too much but there is one more thing Peter is fighting for that is the most important and a nice twist on the story.

Acting - I always really liked Tobey as Spider-Man. A lot more than I thought too when looking back at the new films Garfield was more funny yea but Tobey had the more nerd part down, the more smart part down. The only thing Garfield had was his humor and his chemistry with Emma Stone. That's it. Kirsten Dunst is a great Mary Jane as she is struggling to pick whether to be with Peter or the new guy you really buy that she is really feeling for Peter the most when they interact. Now lets get to Doc Ock aka Alfred Molina.... it's going to take a looooong search for them to find a better Doc Ock than this guy because damn does he just steal the show. Every scene he is in you feel his sadness, his rage, his power and it's just a force to be reckoned with.

Effects - Dat train fight... I mean c'mon it's gonna take Marvel a lot of work to overcome this. I mean they look sort of dated on a 4k screening but hey it's pretty impressive still. But still that train fight... WHOOO it's amazing. And the music too man it all flows together quite nice might I say. Also Spider-Man is my favorite MC out of everything ever so yea xd

Not gonna separate this one into parts or anything just going to speak straight from the heart. This is what everything you create should lead up to. A franchise should end on a high note. This is what Spider-Man 3 should have been. This is what Matrix Revolutions should have been. This is what X - Men The Last Stand should have been, and many many more. This signified the franchise as perfection. Every piece of this has your heart behind it. You feel for these characters after going through so many films with them. You grew with these characters. If anything this is a superior Boyhood. This is Wizardhood b.

The first watch was a spectacle. Loved it. Got my allergies going when it all ended. Could not believe that this was the end for us. The acting was spectacular. It felt like war. It felt like saddening pain. Everyone that died here it was a complete feel fest for them. I understand that there was a superior ending in the books but this ending was perfect in it's own right my loves. And the 3d here is so damn rare. I mean I can't even find a 3d copy of this movie it's THAT rare. Honestly I just can't tell you that this will be the best movie that you will watch, but watch the movies in order and then come back to me and tell me if you had not felt it was as well.

Everything looks great here. The effects, the music, the casts acting, the plot. It's all at full spring. Honestly the only things out there that can surpass this is maybe Civil War, Avengers 3, Star Wars 8 or a Tarantino film. So my final rating for this is.

Legendary/10

I admit Boyhood was well directed, but it was so boring.
That movie was boring to so many people lol but I loved it. I guess because I shared basically the same childhood as the kid in the film granted I was a few years older but meh it was just about the same. And I loved the actors in it XD

Great picks! Seen all but Pulp Fiction
Absolutely love Inception especially. Leonardo Dicaprio and Tom Hardy need to star in more movies together. They also killed The Revenant together.

Gonna rewatch Avengers 1, 2, and The Winter Soldier sometime before Civil War comes out.

Actually getting ready to go watch BvS. Despite the negative reviews, I'm choosing to be optimistic about it.

And I assume Tobey Maguire is your favorite Spider-Man?

Had to do it XD

And I don't see how you think that but ok LOL Looking forward to seeing your list love.

Ok HP was decent other is dreadful :sdo:
Whut?

I admit Boyhood was well directed, but it was so boring.
Maybe some of the scenes ran a bit too long but I didn't see it that way because of the fascination with seeing him grow (no homo) and what he would become in the end.

Dude. Go watch Pulp Fiction lol I'm telling you it is amazing.

Me too gonna watch all the marvel movies in order.

Gonna go see bvs as well though I'm not spending much for it so gonna wait for that crowd to die down.

Tobey is probably always going to be my favorite... though with Marvel having the rights to Spider-Man again the new movies might surpass my expectations by a mile.

Kill Bill, Avengers, Guardians of the galaxy and Harry Potter weren't as good as you say.

The rest is cool I guess.
Ok that's your opinion.

Yea I guess xd

Hobbit wasnt as good as I wanted it to be and LOTR doesnt have much repeatability though I do like the movies. Dark Knight is overrated but still in my Top 20. Jurassic Park is cool but not into dinosaurs that much and why are you even mentioning Jurassic World in a Top 10 movies thread:|
