OT: I think it's a normal human reaction. Wouldn't you be pissed if you were dating this girl for lets say a year and find out she was actually a guy ? I would feel discussed. Well, I think that a transsexual person should be open about it if things get really serious. I don't mean the time where you are just dating someone, but you know, before you end up in bed with each other (which usually shouldn't happen too soon imo). I truly understand that a transgender person does not want to show this "secret" open to everyone.. like a "tattoo on the forehead" because people often are stupid and ignorant, but a relationship has to be based on trust and honesty.

For example: To me, it would be absolutely okay if my partner was transgender. But I would like to know that, because I'm open and honest to the person too.

First off. I'd just like to say that I'm all for equality and trans people and that Slimreaper is as extreme as always. I'd say you are a victim albeit in a very minor way. You've been betrayed and you can be victimised severely as a result depending on who finds out and what sort of people you have in your life.
