Tbh people just bandwagon him cuz he is strong. The last time he was least bit interesting was part one and beginning of shippuden was the height of it. After fighting itachi and gaining mangekyou he became bland.

Tragedy doesnt equate to better development than another character. People just dont appreciate other characters fully because of this.

That doesnt make me a big fan of him tho. I can recognize when an author chooses to focus on a certain character. I wanted more Rock Lee and Neji, but I'm not the mangaka.

why do you care? anyways the character has depth, solid characterization through and through.read when the author decribes him, how he analyes him. think he said something about how sasuke challenges him as a writer because he is stubborn or something like that. shoes the amount of thought he puts in when developing sasuke.
