It's good due to the age and the "tragic end". Was it a legit relationship? No, Yahiko died before they would be old enough to become an actual couple. However, with the few romantic elements involved, it was okay. I wouldn't say it was bad.

I agree on the last three points.

I was mentioning two examples of romance that Kishimoto had achieved acceptable standards with. This proves that he isn't 100% incapable.

I think he wrote NaruHina/SasuSaku like that on purpose. He didn't have much care for them, so we got them along with random new gen couples. They exist for marketing and continuing the series.

But when he puts heart into something (I guess Tsunade's love for Dan), it's decent. That wasn't hashed together for story progression, that was for both her character and Dan's. It was more genuine.
I think Kishi being capable to do a good romance for the two pairs but not have done so is worse than being incapable. So basically Kishi gave up on his fans when he wrote the ending.

Well, the major pairings were always going to be pretty poorly set-up since they were mainly there to rile up shipping fans and thus bring in a wider audience and/or marketing/merch.

If he were to do them well, that would have required making clear who would end up with who very early in the manga, which would not be as profitable.

I don't think this is a terrible thing of him to do, as the pairing fans who love their ship enough to buy merch usually stick with it no matter how it is written and the rest of us (non-pairing fans) don't care too much.

I just don't want lazy writing to conclude 15 years of the story. I'm not a pairing fan but pairings are a part of the manga, and there's more emphasis on them than quality.

Kishimoto wrote Boruto and Sarada's relationship better than he did Naruto and Hinata/Sasuke and Sakura's ... in like the span of a year? Compared to the fifteen years he had in the Manga?

Then again Boruto and Sarada could just be his way of saying that NaruSasu could of been canon if one of them was female. Despite their characters being different from their fathers.

sasuke was better as a single badass wandering shinobi / Dark knight than having a family

He didn't want to embarrass his daughter...also doesn't matter they had Sarada, so they banged whether you like it or not. :flirty:
