Well if you wanna play that game than I can also bring up the fact that there was no clue that Sakura would end up becoming a Tsunade clone after time skip. So yeah lets not go there. Because it was expected for them to somewhat change over the time skip. I am pretty sure you would agree that Sasuke did not go to Orochimaru's hideout to play around. He was bound to learn some new jutsues. In fact it was expected by many.

No it was not expected no matter how you put it. Could you have predicted Sakura would learn to use her yin seal in War arc? How can you expect something that wasn't there? Sure she could have learned it years and years after that point. But she really showed no potinetial to use it before it. It kinda makes you think where was it earlier than? It was simply lazy writing from Kishi. Making her seem equal to Naruto and Sasuke while staying in there shadows before that time period.

Even if it's lazy writing, which, as far as lazy writing goes, Sakura getting Yin Seal is a pretty minor thing, that doesn't change that the Yin Seal implicitly requires work to achieve. Unless someone is going to show canon evidence that says you can get Yin Seal some way other than the only way it's been described in the manga (concentrating chakra over time), Sakura's Yin Seal isn't "free."

There's also no reason to assume Tsunade wouldn't have told Sakura at some point "By the way, this is also an important medical-nin technique, you should probably try and learn it at some point."

This is not about admiting it or not admiting it. This is about having actual proof she was training for it. A small hint would have done in between arcs. Something that showed evidence of her training for it. She had all the panel time in the world to do it but Kishi ignored that part and simply showcased it off in a random time during the War arc. What you fail to understand is how much of a poor writing this is. Its like Naruto randomly doing rasen-shuriken to Kakuza without ever giving hints of training for it.
