Kaguya and the juubi have Mangekyou Sharingan

We can see here that Sasuke's Mangekyou Sharingan appear to be representd as six tomoes in his Rinnegan.
And it looks the same as this:

Which means that the original Mangekyou Sharingan had six tomoes and all the other designes are weak versions of it.
Because Indras Sharingan is devided into two eyes it doesn't have enough yin power to go Rinne Sharingan, instead he has a weaker unstable version that looks different depending on the user.
And the Uchiha gotten even a weaker version that doesn't have MS unless they force their eyes to activate it by doing something really emotional like killing their best friend which causes them sever damage like going blind and dying like Itachi.
So they need to steel their brothers eye in order to gain their yin power to make their MS design more complete.
And they can't evolve it into the Rinne Sharingan because they need the six tomoe designe just like when Sasuke got his EMS his final susanoos designe changed in order for it to go perfect susanoo(Madara's giant version not the one that fodder Kakashi did).
Proof is that Hagoromo said that his mother posses the power of the Sharingan.
