Naruto doesnt have a Reaper Death Seal on him. Everything else is only half true. The seal was made so their chakras would mix over time to strentghen Naruto when he is ready to control it. Which wventually did happen. Not saying Op is right tho but it wouldnt be a stretch if kishi decided to go that route.

It'd be like Goku merging with Shenron in GT allowing him to be Immortal through Chakra. But kishi would never do that.

So wait did Minato specifically make the seal to "weaken" or to just let some chakra slip through. I always thought the leaking of chakra was done by design and the weakening was just due to the seal wearing out over time. I don't know nearly as much as yall do about the story details though.

That is why.

He designed it to naturally seep into Naruto's own chakra, but this allowed the seal to weaken over the years because it wasn't complete.

If their chakra was completely merged then Naruto wouldn't be considered a host and extraction wouldn't be possible, but we've already witnessed Naruto get completely separated from Kurama by Madara.
