Stereotypes about Black Women

I prefer latinas over blacks. I can say that much, but I can't really put one race over the other in general.

I have to say that out of all races. It's a lot more rare that I find black women attractive. I don't know what it is. I have black family and support equality and all and even when I am attracted to black girls. It's usually the lighter tones. This has confused me most of my life. :/

A lot of black women shave their heads. Have deeper voices. Act over manly/have more of an attitude and have the wider noses. All of which I find to be unattractive. A lot of these are down to their culture/where they grow up though.

Ofc skin colour itself shouldn't turn you off a person. Lol @ everyone trying to be overly polite about the whole thing.

Their general attitude is what's ugly, they act like men too much, it's a turn off.

So apparently why many people don't find Black women attractive or don't prefer to date Black women(dating preference) is because of misconceptions, prejudice, and stereotypes.

Many people think Latino is a race, no it's a term used to describe a group of Spanish speaking people. Last time I checked Black women can speak Spanish. It's funny when a person says they prefer Latinas over black women or that they think Latinas are the hottest women and black women are ugly because of stereotypes associated with them. It's like saying I prefer Americans over White girls basically. It's nonsense.

What people don't realize is that there are different types of Black women worldwide. There are beautiful Afro Arabic, Latinas, American, Canadian, and Asian women. Black women exist all over.

This is what I'm talking about.This comment is a prime example of stereotyping. Some people go off stereotypical reasons to not like Black women instead of actually getting to met different types of black women. Like you should really google what a hasty generalization fallacy is because your whole statement is one.

I love how some people think dating preferences (specifically race preferences since this is what this post is about)are fine and not discrimination. Like last I checked I don't look like every other black female on the planet. I have yet to hear someone state a legit reason to have a dating preference besides some stereotypes,discrimination, or the close mind excuse of "I can't help what I like" I'm not saying you are going to like every human but to say "I don't like *insert race*" is stupid. You can't force people to like someone they don't. Maybe your skin color don't meet my standards of beauty. I'm sure you've rejected guys before so don't act morally superior. It's just preference.

I would agree that it's a stereotype, but they do have a point, the majority of black women actually share those thraits and a lot of them do act kind of manly, at least here in America so it's not complete bs.
