Well they are much less nerfed this way but yeah unity comes with great power in this manga.

Take Sasori vs Chiyo and Sakura for example, the latter showed off their true strength against an Akatsuki member who was dissappointing.

The whole manga is based off the Teamwork theme so it only makes sense if this is the case.
