Why was Madara brought back as a younger version of himself, when everyone else was brought back exactly as they were when they died?

Hashirama and Tobirama were brought back in their prime. They were a bit nerfed though. Not going to include Minato because he died young and Oro had no other choice but to pull those forms of those guys from the Reaper Death Seal.

Kabuto mentions that he brought Madara in his prime form by making a few adjustments. Old Maddy is not that strong, his senses have dulled down.

I don't think so. The 2nd became Hokage after the First died and we can infer that the First must have had a long life span because he saw his Grandchild grow up.

Many theorized it was due to the enhancements of Hashirama cells, which formed a face on Madara's chest.

I don't think so. The 2nd became Hokage after the First died and we can infer that the First must have had a long life span because he saw his Grandchild grow up.

The 2nd died when Kinku and Ginkku attacked them, he looked exactly the same. We still have no proof of Hashi's situation, because it was never told.

The only thing we see is everyone is brought back the same as death, minus Madara, and possibly Hashi.

Madara was modified because Kabuto wanted him to use the Sage's full power, the rest weren't brought back to their prime. Both Hashi and Tobirama died fairly young which is why they're not old like Hiruzen, but Edo Tensei still nerfed them from using their full power.

No he wasn't, if he had Uzumaki life force you would see him with red hair. Plus, he died before Tobirama when Hiruzen was still a kid, the reasonable explanation is because he spammed Mokuton which Naruto proved requires a lot of life force to use.

The rules of Edo Tensei (much like the last quarter or so of the manga) are riddled with inconsistencies/plot holes. It was originally established that Edo Tensei brought you back in your prime. However, Kishi has freely bent this very clear rule as he did not know what the f*ck he was doing during the war arc.

For starters, it would appear that the term "prime" is left completely to interpretation, as there are a lot of subsequent questions just revolving around what a persons "prime" is. For example Nagato died relatively young, however his true "prime" would have been as a child before he was crippled in such a fashion that fighting was no longer an option for him. Yet when he was revived, he was revived crippled. The Third Hokage was revived the state that he died - an old man. Similarly, all of the Edo Akatsuki members and Edo Kage were revived (seemingly) at the state they were in when they died.

Hashi was never stated to have Uzumaki traits, that's just assumption it's like me saying Naruto can use Mokuton because he's distantly related to Senju and has Ashura's chakra. Him and Naruto clearly inherited different traits of Ashura's power. 1st Hokage had the Juubi's KKG while Naruto had the Jinchuuriki's body

Hashi was capable of healing but wasn't an Uzumaki, that would explain why he died early, he ran out of stamina from spamming his KKG too much because it's proven to require similar amount of life energy as Kurama's chakra. If he was a true Uzumaki he would've lived as long as Mito, but he didn't.

Tsunade is proof that Senju can have healing feats but not the life force to use them to their full extent
