"fine..." in an instant kaito appears behind scarlet and kicks her head, knocking her into the ground. "The order of the Red King will not stand for your insolence any longer!" making a handseal a large number of metal feathers appear behind him. "Shinigami art: thousand feather rain!" he motions his hand and the feathers launch into her body

With the resort abandoned and few guests left Gerald decided to check the web that he had laid out over the mountain, strands so thin that they couldn't even be seen by the naked eye, but these Spider's threads would never break. The strands descended from the mountains enveloping the forest and even parts of the towns picking up the vibrations of all things that went on around the mountain from the motions of the animals/ humans, wind pressure, and even faint voices. A web was only natural for a spider like Gerald, and this mountain was his hunting ground. Still surprisingly the mountain was rather still this evening. It was if all the birds and beasts alike had fled. There wasn't even a single hunter scouring through the mountain.
In other words it was boring.

Kaito screams in pain as he falls, moments before hitting the ground he regains his composure and flies up high. "You are becoming more trouble than youre worth...." making another hand seal he begins to fade away, as he fades he lets out a sinister laugh.

Taking a deep sigh Gerald had gotten bored, and as usual when he was bored his mood would sour and he would search out for entertainment, so the delicate strings that currently filled the mountain came to life and began growing in length, the strings invisible to the naked eye found there way into the homes of villagers at the base of the mountain. The strings then inserted themselves into the necks of the towns people and immediately they were put under a trance. The people then rose to their feet and began to make their way up the mountain

Daniel fought himself back to his feet and limped his way back to the top of the mountain and saw the rubble. "oh no...."

The people who left the safety of their village left as they were, some moderately clothed, some without shoes, others even in their night clothes, mindlessly they walked into the mountains, deeper and deeper into the snowy wooded area. The people would be headed to the resort's annex and as an employee of the resort Gerald figured it only right if he was there to receive them there eso putting on his jacket Gerald left the resort and headed towards the other side of the mountain, where so many guests would gather.
Panic
Soon after heading out Gerald could feel the presence of the group that he had abducted, they were only half way to the annex and already to deep within Gerald's web so clicking the nails between his thumb and his middle finger the strings that had implanted themselves into the villager's necks were cut. Immediately they were released from their trance, but as a side effect they were still somewhat discombobulated. Suddenly there was a scream that filled the mountain. A woman was the first to come to her senses. How did she get here, where was she? Some of these people she recognized, but others she didn't. Confusion filled the group as they spoke to each other in a frenzy. Suddenly one of them had began to speak about the rumor of this mountain, one that many hunters had recently been telling. About how there was a demon residing here and a ghostly woman at the mountain's top. Fear filled the group and Gerald smiled as he used his web to pick up on it all.

daniel makes it up to the top of the mountain and sees scarlet. "SCARLET!" he runs up and hugs her and holds her tight.

Circumstances
As the group begins to speak with one another they begin to calm down, but it isn't long before the cold air hits them. They are too far from the bottom to still head down, they would be walking all night. It is just then that someone sees a group of buildings in the distance. Just then the rumor of the resort at the top of the mountain flashed through the minds of the group, though none of them was about to admit it. It was just a rumor and staying out of doors all night in the fierce mountain wind wasn't possible. So though somewhat reluctant the group began to head to the buildings in the distance.
