Ok... so our lord kenpachi is back once again. i love it to death its crazy. Kenpachi coming to save the day once again.. I also hate how byakuya always got something slick to come out his mouth when hes nothing but fodder compared to our lord kenpachi.. and toshiro has NOOOOo room to talk at all. lol boy bye

I also hate how they always pair byakuya and kenpachi are paired together like their equals.. when they are far from it.. kenpachi solos

But i do love the fact that , that guy isnt fully dead. Quincies are shown to be more powerful even when at death.. nice to see that ol girl too.. I love this chapter

Definitely 5/5, heck i'd give it a 10/5 tbh. What i didn't really get is what happened to Urahara and Grimmjow. Did Askin's barrier thingy collapse or something? Would really appreciate an explanation. Besides that, quite a few things happened. We finally got to see Nel since the last time they showed her which was like, beginning of the arc i think? But for me, the highlight of the chapter was Byakuya's and Hitsugaya's interaction LOL. Byakuya's reaction was priceless lmao.

And OMG Kenpachi finally showed up again, i'm guessing he's almost back to full strength after his fight with Pernida. Once again, great chapter.

I can't rate it that high. Askin literally cheated death for some bullshit dramatic cliff hanger. To me, Byakuya's character is too serious. Him doing comedy during a serious situation was cheap. And Zenpachi should have sat this one out. I only see his return as revealing his Bankai.

i think the dose increases 10x but its reasonable
hes not dead though i dont think

and kenpachi coming we could have seen coming.. kenpachi always fight against huge opponents but i do think he should have sat this one out

and byakuya didnt make jokes but he has lighten up since he died.. *chuckle* and came back to life

Jow ripped out his heart and stabed him in the head. Sounds like he killed him. However, you probably right and he got some asspull ability the would allow him to fight Nel.

I wanted to see someone new, but if Kenpachi pulls his Bankai then I ain't mad.

I only say that is because Byakuya is sorta of one of my favs and he lost respect once he died.

Im getting Yammy flashbacks. Giant curbstomps renji and rukia, another person comes to save them, Kenpachi and Byakuya come to save him, and mayuri is in some degree present in the fight. heres hoping for a good old fashioned game of "who can chop gerard valkrie into a thousand tiny pieces"

Because his injuries were less severe than Kenpachi's, and they went into the healing pods at the same time. Chapter 667, Mayuri's going to show up, throw some drugs at Gerard and Gerard is going to keel over dead. Miracles mean nothing when a second is a thousand years of Kenpachi style ass kicking.


Serious prediction time, Gerard is going to re-miracle to grow his arm back and get larger. I'm guessing his powers are something he has to conciously activate, but can do so repeatedly. He gets bigger, Kenpachi cuts him in half again, Gerard gets bigger again, Kenny go's Shikai, dices him, Gerard gets bigger, and the warwhalt can no longer support his weight. He falls through the barriers, onto the seireitei, and gets an Aizen level ass kicking.

Considering that Askin is dead, Yushiro would still be alive since Nel had sensed four spiritual pressures within the fortress. Also, I doubt Urahara would be killed off that easily. If anything, he's only losing his consciousness. Kubo can't use Urahara in order to compensate for the lack of deaths in their side now. There's just too much from him that we haven't learned yet. But since this is Kubo that we're talking about, I'm holding my breath on that one.

I'm guessing next week's chapter should switch gears back to Gerard and the others whilst covering a little of what will happen at Urahara's side maybe. Or a potential switch back to Uryuu and Haschwalth's battle.

I like Kenpachi the most, but why all this Toshiro and Byakuya hate? You rather should ask why Kubo keeps Kenpachi and Byakuya at one level so far? Maybe their power levels aren't that far away from each other as you think, I mean, this is Kubo after all. Wouldn't be surprised if Byakuya still has some hax shit up his sleeve, considering the fact that even his sister got one of the best bankais.

Toshiro hate comes because he's lost the majority of his fights so far, and the Byakuya hate comes from the fact that As Nodt was supposed to kill him.

I'm still going with Izuru having an inbuild jetpack to kill Gerard.

An ok chapter 3/5 imo. I've always had high standards for Urahara Kisuke and thought he would have a trump card(mainly his bankai) that would neg everything and I was pretty bummed when he pulled it out so early in the fight, I actually didin't expect him to pull it out at all. To me I've lost some interest in his character and he doesn't give me an ominous vibe to his character anymore as well because he doesn't feel as powerful as I felt he was. Grimmjow to me, has lost all his hype this arc.

I wanted the Gerard fight to be a one on one tbh, it would have been cool if Toshiro got 1 on 1 action even if I don't really like him much,but could have been his chance to get some of the hate off his back and be seen as a very powerful captain, and the comedy between Byakuya and him just felt awkward and felt like it didin't belong there imo. It was nice to see Zaraki, really hope he doesn't pull out his trump card early.
