If you have to ask who or did Naruto kill, you didn't understand the goal with Naruto's character.

The entire premise is that the shinobi world is full of death, lies, and hardship. It is these things that end up creating a cycle of hatred that has become inescapable for everyone in the shinobi world. Do you have to agree with it? No. Is it arguable Kishi didn't adequately portray how difficult such a choice is, like characters as Batman? Yes.
