Yes. I realize there is a post about this. It was just made. This is MY post.
In this thread, I want to prove that Naruto may be connected to the Senju.
In this thread, I want to prove that he is not a direct descendant. MERELY a cousin as stated in the 500th chapter.
Point number one.
"Long ago, people were always at war, there was no end to it."
"Then a single priest appeared, he was the first to divine the true meaning of chakra, and he tried to bring the world to peace."
Here, Jiraiya is saying that there are MORE people in the ninja world than the Sage. The Sage was not the FIRST human being in the Narutoverse and somehow gave life without another human. What I am saying here is that there were MANY people out there other than the Sage that Naruto could have inherited DNA from.
"Their blood thinned."
And this one seems to be the most ignored. Especially by hardcore Naruto fans. The FIRE of the Senju clan dwells within you. Nothing there stating that Naruto is a Senju, but that is open to interpretation.
"Ninja were nothing more than individual clans".
Notice how clans in Naruto tend to do a lot of inbreeding? To those of you who don't understand the term, it is producing children with ones family member. This is often done to maintain connections to one family. Look at all the clans "hiden" techniques (like the Yamanaka mind switch or the Aburame bug jutsu). It is common that both the men AND the women can use the techniques, yet they are only supposed to be taught to clan members. Why do I know both men and women can use the techniques? Look at Kiba. He's from the Inuzuka clan, we have yet to see his father, but he must have inherited his father's last name. We know that the Inuzuka clan use techniques related to dogs, but yet his mother has actually been seen, and has used techniques related to dogs. Look at her fight against Preta Path for details. This goes to prove my inbreeing point that many people in Naruto marry cousins of sorts.
Now if there were a lot of clans that practiced inbreeding, why is it that everyone believes that ALL clans share the same blood?
Maybe in Naruto, everyone is related. But that also goes for the real world. We all come from the same being (whoever you believe that is, that's not my business). However, you do not see people from China calling each other Mexicans and people from Mexico calling each other Chinese.
Here, these guys are said to be distant relatives. Yet the time period being described is already from quite a ways into the past. Thus, this would make Naruto's Senju blood even more diluted. Believe it or not, they could've had the same ancestor that was alive before the Sage's time! That is unclear. It's too vague to go on.
We DO have proof that Naruto is related to the Senju. However, based on the logic of many of these people on the boards, Sasuke is actually a Senju as well because the Uchiha and Senju clan come from the elder brother and younger brother, thus making their descendants cousins. Likewise, we could also call Hashirama an Uzumaki because of this logic.
All I'm saying is, yes. There is a possibilty that Naruto has Senju in him, and I'm a supporter of that, however disgusting it seems. It really takes away from the hard life of training he's had if he's from a clan of geniuses. I'm just saying that he's probably so distant from the Senju's that it wouldn't even qualify. That is, IF he is actually considered a Senju.
