Well if i were to rack my brains for an insane possibility I can come up with this.....he stored his sperm, changed his gender and then impregnated himself/herself.....sort of a creepy way that would suit him/her.......

OT : he sort of took his cells and mixed them with those of white snake and cultured them or something
