Plot restrictions

Post a scene/scan of your favorite character using one feat and then not use it again when they really need it.
My example. Tobi aka Tobious who would solo your fav on a daily basis.
Kishi restricted the balls off of him.
Tobi is able to remain intangible while using his Gedo mazou chains to subdue the five tails.

He could remain intangible and use all other attacks to pee on people. Kishi said "fuck that noise," and stopped him from doing it again.

So how about you? Post one of your favs restrictions.

I've never seen a restriction from God Usopp. Buggy on the other hand; Oda stop playing.

This move basically no-sold an attack from BM Naruto and sent it right back at him with terrifying speed and power. He never had the occasion (or didn't bother) to use it afterward, but it was a pretty efficient defense nonetheless.

You don't have at least one significant one? I have tons for my fav but this one is the only one tha really made a difference.

Konan's Ocean paper jutsu could've been used way earlier in the series. By far one of the most strongest jutsus in the series.

Well, to be fair, she created that jutsu just to (try to) kill Obito. Also there was no need for it when Jiraiya came to Amegakure and she couldn't use it in the Konoha-attack due to the lack of such mass of water and preparation time.
