i misread, you were talking about bernie.

Lets talk about the female/male wage gap bernie likes to quote... looks like you're just as biased as I am
I'm tired of this. You're done dude.

You've went off tangent long enough and each of your points have been countered.

You've even began to conveniently skip over my retorts because you have no counters to them.

You've been proven wrong time and time again and if you can't accept that, then leave.

you've yet to prove me wrong on anything on this thread.

I've proven you biased towards bernie. You provided no counter for the article I posted.

When one person tells you that you have a problem, maybe they're wrong.
When multiple people tell you that you have a problem, maybe you should listen.
When everyone tells you that you have a problem and you refuse to listen, and counter with random insults instead of intelligence, then you are slimreaper.

Will you disprove this?

How many people believe the earth was flat? Were the small minority that said it was round treated like kings? Or did everyone ridicule them?
Everyone ridiculed them because at that time, there was no Scientific Method and everyone believed in the Church's doctrines.

Our current popular belief in America is that Socialism is an evil ideology that doesn't work. We are beginning to have a positive shift in that belief after more and more evidence from studies of Socialism is released. So soon, according to your line of logic, the small minority of people in America that believe Socialism can have a positive impact on the world will change to a larger population.

Just look at Venezuela. Look at how China used capitalism to climb the ranks almost immediately

the fault with socialism is it is forceful charity.

The prospects for socialism seem good because they coddled youth who've never earned anything in their life have never felt the sting of having it taken away. My generation will flip in their lifetime.

Slim, you are nowhere near the equivalent of Aristotle so dont even try. A person truly willing to learn about their world and striving to better it takes the time to listen, absorb, and realistically debate information with others. You rarely do this. Instead you post very unreliable articles, quickly dismiss anything that is shared with you from others, and to make it even better you insult people out of nowhere when they present serious questions to you. People like you are the exact reason why some of our greatest discoveries (like the earth being round) wasn't accepted sooner. Your aggressive, one-sided approach completely limits growth. You have this s**t all twisted lmfao.

EDIT: Thanks for the neg rep btw. It just proves my point lol.

Yet you failed to defend your own line of logic with socialism being the minority ideology in America, through more evidence from studies backing it, will become even more popular in America. These isolated examples are nothing compared to entire continents using Socialism to climb the ranks of Happiness, Science and Math Education, and Low Homicide Ratios.

Remember that our most popular Acts and Laws in America are Socialist policies. Antitrust laws, Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, Unions, Minimum Wage, Eight Hour Weekdays, National Holidays (like Christmas), et cetera.

Are the people who like Social Security (the old people who have had something to gain and something to lose) wrong because it is forced charity?

Entire continents using socialism? successfully? IS that why they have to join unions to even compete with american capitalism?

for starters Mexico is number ten in the world in happiness. With high cartel violence and a corrupt government Mexico is ahead of America in happiness. What does that say about the effectiveness of that study?

I would love to hear how science and math education are problems not associated with socialism. Are our schools not free? Lets guess... it's because their not getting enough money right?

Low homicide ratios can be largely attributed to less poverty. The welfare state creates poverty

Lets go through your list now

Antitrust laws- A necessary function of the government. If you want to call that socialism then whatever. You want to call anything the central government a socialist function

Social Security-Social Security was created back in the 1930s, during the administration of President Franklin D. Roosevelt, one of the shrewdest politicians who ever sat in the White House.

President Roosevelt understood that, if you could convince people that they were entitled to a pension under Social Security, it could become politically impossible to ever put an end to that system.

The pensions promised exceeded what could actually be paid from the money that was put in by the recipients. But the first generation to enter Social Security would have their pensions paid by money received from the second generation, as well as its own money. The second generation would be paid with money that included what was paid in by the third generation, and so on.

This is the principle behind a “pyramid” scheme, in which the first investors can get a big return on their money by simply paying them money received from subsequent investors. But it is only a matter of time before reality catches up with us, since the pyramid scheme is not actually investing any money or saving any money.

That is why a private insurance company that sold annuities based on a pyramid scheme would be prosecuted for fraud, and its officials put in prison. But you can’t put Congress in prison, even when that is what it deserves.

What's so complicated about that? You don't get any more out than you pay in. Yet liberals ****ed it up

Medicare/Medicaid- necessary for people who physically can't work. Medicaid should be limited to a certain amount of time for anyone who's unemployed who gets it

Unions- Lead to greater unemployment and less production. Unions are horrible for America

Minimum wage- I've already been all over this. The evidence totally supports me on minimum wage I'll debate anyone on this topic. America would be better off without a minimum wage, and most nordic countries do fine without one

Eight hour weekdays- I make more money because I work 12 hours a day. that shits for lazy people

National holidays- Holiday's are cultural. The Superbowl isn't a national holiday yet it's massive. St Patrick's day is and it's not.

I like how you use Thomas Sowell for every argument you make. As if he's some sort omniscient individual.

This topples your entire argument of Bernie Sanders and Socialism.

you've never once actually taken something he's said and countered it. Why fix something that isn't broken?

Because our crony capitalistic system is broken.

We recently got out of the Great Recession and no we're on the verge of another economic crash.

Over 40,000 people die every year due to lack of healthcare.

Student loan debt is now the second largest sector of household debt.

Money in politics influences policies and direction of our society which favors corporations.

The middle class is disappearing and the amount of homeless individuals have spiked.

But none of that probably sounds broken to you.

"A government that taxes 40 percent or more of our income, that controls our medical care, that regulates business so thoroughly that every firm large enough to afford it has a department of “compliance,” a government that controls the money supply, sets bank reserve-ratios, regulates stock offerings, margin-ratios, home construction, determines what pharmaceuticals and medical innovations can be sold, operates schools and universities, runs the passenger rail system, forbids “offensive” speech, increasingly intervenes in diet, subsidizes agriculture and “green” businesses, imposes tariffs, decides which businesses may merge, and, we have just learned, spies on its own citizens–is not a government remotely consistent with capitalism."

You want something for nothing. You want to impose the cost of your life onto others. Thats not fair no matter how much better than you they are at living
