I'll go with Rey :sdo:Which bio of mine do you want me to use to teach you? Rey or Dean? Also, I am guessing you'd like RP based training xD
lol okayWe'll just go with RP, it's the same length as analysis lol.
Rey walks onto the training field, seeing the young student before her, she already knew he was a Hyuga. They had quite an unique taste..their chakra, that is. Their skill was quite well known as well, and apparently, this boy she was going to teach, was a prodigy of sorts. With her usual attire and staff on her back, Rey walked towards the young boy. Greeting him with a nod and a smile, she began her training.
"Hello there, I'm Rey Ganmi. I'm not as well known as my partner, Dean, but I too, enjoy Genjutsu and as such, this will be first time teaching it! Bare with me, will you? Nonetheless, as we usually start, tell me what you know about Genjutsu? How do you think it works, how do we defend against it, and the like. Anything you might think of that might seem important."
Rey says, as she smiles. Her smile was quite something, almost contagious. People around her also smiled when she did, must be a Ganmi thing.
Breaking from Layered Genjutsu is easy, as you just use the suitable method of breaking from the higher ranking Genjutsu. Say its a A rank Genjutsu, and a B rank combined, it will in total be the rank of the higher one, in this case, A rank. You then just use the suitable method of breaking an A rank Genjutsu, breaking both illusions at the same time."Ex: Genjutsu A - Creates Butterflies, A ranked.
Genjutsu B - Creates Squirrels, B ranked.
A + B = Butterflies AND Squirrels
B + A = Butterflies NO Squirrels
Aww you didn't have to manRey was quite impressed with her new student, but he was rumored to be a prodigy so it was to be expected. Smiling and nodding her head in agreement, Rey could see he knew it, or most of it. She would still elaborate a bit more on it.
"Good job, Neji. Now just a little small something to add. MS/EMS level Genjutsu cannot be broken by common means. As you stated, there are three ways of breaking Genjutsu, one which is pain, and it has a clear guide. Surge techniques are a second, whereas its using a technique that releases a large amount of chakra from all, or most of your Tenketsu. This should be familiar to you, being a Hyuga after all, but here is where you must be careful. A normal elemental technique that does this, for example, is A rank Chidori Nagashi. Now an elemental technique that does this, must be at least 1 rank higher than the Genjutsu set upon you for the case of elemental techniques or specialized techinques (like Gentle Fist), or 2 ranks for the case of Raw chakra techniques. So, Chidori Nagashi is A rank, and it can break up to B rank and below Genjutsu. With a Raw Chakra technique, say it is A rank, it can only break C rank and below.
Also something you didn't cover was Layering Genjutsu. This means combining more than one non-conflicting Genjutsu and mixing them, or making them deeper in a sense. This however, still follows normal time frame rules, unless its a two in one technique. The higher ranking Genjutsu has to be used first, then the lower ranking Genjutsu. If you cast the lower ranking Genjutsu first, and then the higher ranking one, the stronger chakra will "flush" out the weaker one and only the higher ranking Genjutsu will remain."

Rey says, catching her breath, only then realizing that she spoke for a while. She then scratched her head as she looked at Neji and asked;
"Any questions?"
"Alright then..""Good."
Rey said, determined. She was now sure he had a good base of understanding, and as such, they could now move on to the actual techniques. Rey had a certain way of doing things, similar to Dean's way.
"Now, I'll explain the technique to you and I want you to perform it for me on a clone, then give me at least 2 advantages and disadvantages of the technique and also how you would use it in battle. Got it?"
Rey asks, as she looks into her bag of scrolls.
Rank: D
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra Cost: 10 (+5 if you use it double)
Damage Points: N/A
Description: The user casts an illusion over an area that allows him to manipulate the way an area looks to fool an opponent. He can only change the way the terrain looks, and not any other feature.
"Okay, this is the first technique. Using your chakra, you will cast an illusion on your opponent. This allows you to manipulate the way the opponent sees the terrain, and the terrain only. You can change forests into deserts, change some rock formations, all just terrain though, so if you are creative with it, you can do some cool stuff with it. Let's see what you can do with this."
Rey says, as she creates a clone who would serve as the dummy.
Interesting.. duely noted.Remember that it wouldn't traumatize the clone since its merely the terrain, it doesn't really affect the clone but is rather just visual based.
Rey nodded her head in approval, he didn't too bad for someone not well versed in the arts of Genjutsu. She smiled, as she gave a few comments on it.
"Good job, and if you layer it, meaning you use it twice, it would be two D rank Genjutsu which means it would still break with the D rank method, since the highest of the two would be D rank. I like that you mentioned its visual only, because that's the part that really makes it easy to recognize. Remember to also add how you would use it in battle."
Rank: D
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra Cost: 10
Damage Points: N/A
Description: The user makes five handseals, appearing to dissolve into a shower of cherry blossom petals. These petals surround the opponent, blocking his vision. This allows the user to mask his movement effectively.
"Okay, now this is the next one we'll be covering. Form five hand seals, and induce the illusion on the opponent. This will cause the opponent to see you dissolve into a shower of cherry blossom petals. These petals would then surround the opponent, and obscure his vision. This all happens in the illusion, while in reality, it allows you to attack whilst the opponent is busy, or his vision is obscured. Use it against my clone."
Rey says, as she creates another clone, and waits for Neji to attack him.
He was getting the gist of it, this prodigy. Rey smiled as she said;
"It can actually be combined quite well with a Ninjutsu based attack, making it more difficult to realize, though you are right that it is quite easy to realize and it doesn't even hinder you from breaking it.. Anyway, now the next one."
Rank: D
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short
Chakra Cost: 10
Damage Points: 20
Description: The user does one handseal and throws a paper bomb at the enemy. The enemy, trapped in a genjutsu will see a clone of the user advancing upon him. As the paper bomb reaches the enemy, it explodes
"Now this one is quite useful, with a single hand seal, you will induce a Genjutsu on the opponent. After doing so, you will launch a single paper bomb at the opponent, however, he will perceive it as being a clone of you, that is running towards him. Once the paper bomb reaches close to him, it explodes and of course, causes quite some damage. This can be done under the guise of some smoke or mist to hide the fact that its a Genjutsu, and a paper bomb heading towards the opponent, and not a clone. You know what to do."
Rey says, as she forms a clone that runs towards Neji.
Oh I see!! That makes sense"You could indeed throw other weapons, but only the paper bomb will be the one that looks like a clone. Think of this as a disadvantage, the paper bomb only moves in a linear motion, meaning the clone in the illusion would follow its movements and as such, merely move in a straight line towards the opponent. You could use this as a method of realizing its a Genjutsu, or simply see that the clone is not even disturbing the ground its running on, the grass, and such. Anyway, let's move on."
Rank: D
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra Cost:10
Damage Points: N/A
Description: This illusion creates numerous illusionary clones of the user that appear to emerge from the ground, trees, rocks, etc. If these clones are attacked, they appear to multiply. The user can co-ordinate his attacks with the clones to make it appear as if they are real.
"Now, in this technique, you will cast a Genjutsu without the need for hand seals. This will allows you to create "illusionary" clones of yourself, that emerges from the ground, trees, rocks, or whatever terrain you are on, and attack the opponent. If they are attacked, they multiply, and as such, they make for good diversions, especially against opponent's who don't have Doujutsu or Sensing. Also nice to use when coming out of a mist, or when hidden from the opponent. Remember everything you have to do this time."
Rey creates a clone that runs towards Neji.
I see"Good question there, unfortunately, if you do something else, only you will do it. But imagine this. You created a thick mist and cast this Genjutsu. Not only would the opponent not be able to see, but also be "attacked" by several clones, one which could be the real you, how would they know its a Genjutsu? The thing about Genjutsu is utilizing your environment to compliment your Genjutsu. Good job though!"
Rank: D
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short
Chakra Cost: 10
Damage Points: N/A
Description: The user performs two handseals causing it to appear as if a swirl of leaves surrounds the opponent. The swirl eventually falls away, and after a few seconds, the opponent sees the image of whatever they fear the most, shocking them and potentially causing them to faint.
"Now the last D rank technique, where you will form two hand seals and induce the Genjutsu. The opponent will then see a swirl of leaves surround the opponent, which obscures their vision and then after a few moments, the opponent would see an image of what they fear most. This shocks them and can cause them to faint. You know what to do."
Rey creates a clone that runs towards Neji.
Noted Sensei"Not bad, but remember that even though it's a mere D rank, it still has a chance of doing what it says it will even if your character is described as being fearless or is strong at heart. Nonetheless, it's not very effective if you don't know much about the person you are facing, and it is easily recognized as a Genjutsu as well. Moving onto the C ranks."
Rank: C-S
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short
Chakra Cost: 15-40
Damage Points: N/A
Description: The user does one hand seal to focus and then proceeds to disturb his chakra flow by forcefully stopping it momentarily and then "spiking" his spiritual energy, unbalancing his chakra. This dispels any genjutsu set upon the user except MS Eye Techniques, Paralysis-like Genjutsu and Demonic Illusion: Toad Confrontation Chant. The effectiveness of this technique is dependent upon the skill of the user. A Jounin rank ninja can dispel Genjutsu up to C-rank. An S-class ninja can dispel Genjutsu up to B-rank. A Sannin rank ninja can dispel Genjutsu up to A-rank. A Sage rank user can dispel Genjutsu up to S-Rank. The user may use this technique through physical contact on others to dispel them from Genjutsu. The technique can only be used once per turn and the user still needs to fully follow the logic as to why he figured out it was an illusion.
"The famed Kai technique, one that can be used to break you out of a Genjutsu. Now, I want you to analyze it, and tell me a bit about it, why its useful and how you can utilize it. There are also times when it can't be used, and I want you to tell me when."
Rey says, as she simply shows Neji the scroll and hopes he can easily understand the ins and outs of the technique.
