Aha, not really, It does look fun, though i'll save it for battles, I want to get my training over with asap, (most of my training threads are going kinda slow atm.) Though I'm open to any kind of training you'd like

Rey walks onto the training field, seeing the young student before her, she already knew he was a Hyuga. They had quite an unique taste..their chakra, that is. Their skill was quite well known as well, and apparently, this boy she was going to teach, was a prodigy of sorts. With her usual attire and staff on her back, Rey walked towards the young boy. Greeting him with a nod and a smile, she began her training.
"Hello there, I'm Rey Ganmi. I'm not as well known as my partner, Dean, but I too, enjoy Genjutsu and as such, this will be first time teaching it! Bare with me, will you? I see, no problem. Even if it is your first time teaching, it appears that you're very skilled judging by those awards. I believe genjutsu training is a must as my eyes cannot see everything.. yet.
As far as genjutsu is concerned, unlike Ninjutsu or Taijutsu which affect the opponent physically, genjutsu focuses on teh mental aspect of the opponent. Simply put, it is an illusionary art form of ninjutsu. There are 2 types of genjutsus, non chakra fueled, which are merely illusions and tricks. While the other is the chakra fueled ones which are actively used my the ninjas. The genjutsu furled by chakra can be used by Dojutsus, through the medium of Sound or used normally.
It works by disturbing the opponent's chakra flow, mainly the brain, hence altering the senses. Through this we can make him percieve any kind of feeling like pain, agony, heat etc. (Tbh it seems like one of the best ways of defeating the opponent, I don't see why many don't use genjutsu in day today fights :/ ).
Since everyone has a balanced and calm chakra flow (a ratio of spiritual and physical energy, a chakra signature that is.) When we induce a genjutsu on the opponent, it disturbs their chakra flow. This fluctuation is created in the persons chakra wave length and makes it fluctuate in our will. This produces the illusion by scrambling the users link between his Mind and his Body. To make our chakra capable of doing the such fluctuations, we need to use a trigger which is, in most cases, handseals, but can be sound, light, eye contact, etc. These help us mold and shape and focus our chakra to the correct wave length we produce, thus enabling us to use it to disturb the opponent's chakra flow.
To detect Genjutsu, two ways to detect genjutsu, either figure out its an illusion or notice the fluctuation on your chakra flow. To figure out its an illusion, you have to analyze the information you are receiving from the illusion and detect what is wrong with it or making a guess. Clearly, it is quite a gamble to do so.
Detecting your chakra fluctuations requires high level sage techniques or a dojutsu. ( like mine :bouncy: )
You can always get out of Genjutsus using Pain. And the level of pain varies from justu levels to jutsu level, judging by the RP Rules, here is what I found out:
D Rank Genjutsu: Chipping a Finger (like one does as he bites to draw blood for a Summoning Jutsu)
C Rank Genjutsu: Low level Physical Attacks, Bitting a chunk of your Cheek
B Rank Genjutsu: Low ranked Taijutsu/Freestyle
A Rank Genjutsu: High ranked Taijutsu, Stabbing Yourself in minor muscle, Cutting yourself, Breaking Smaller bones, Low level Burning/Voltage, Painful Cold
S Rank Genjutsu: EIG/Sage level Taijutsu, Breaking Bones, Deep Stabs or cuts, Medium Voltage/Burning, Extreme Painful Cold, Bitting your tongue off
We can also get rid of it using the following jutsu:
or releasing a required amount of chakra.
Another method is through external disturbance of Chakra, like an ally performing Kai for you, or having the Curse mark, or Sage mode (natural external Energy) , or being a jinchuuriki who can control the bijuu :sdo:

As you stated, there are three ways of breaking Genjutsu, one which is pain, and it has a clear guide. Surge techniques are a second, whereas its using a technique that releases a large amount of chakra from all, or most of your Tenketsu. This should be familiar to you, being a Hyuga after all, but here is where you must be careful. A normal elemental technique that does this, for example, is A rank Chidori Nagashi. Now an elemental technique that does this, must be at least 1 rank higher than the Genjutsu set upon you for the case of elemental techniques or specialized techinques (like Gentle Fist), or 2 ranks for the case of Raw chakra techniques. So, Chidori Nagashi is A rank, and it can break up to B rank and below Genjutsu. With a Raw Chakra technique, say it is A rank, it can only break C rank and below.
Also something you didn't cover was Layering Genjutsu. This means combining more than one non-conflicting Genjutsu and mixing them, or making them deeper in a sense. This however, still follows normal time frame rules, unless its a two in one technique. The higher ranking Genjutsu has to be used first, then the lower ranking Genjutsu. If you cast the lower ranking Genjutsu first, and then the higher ranking one, the stronger chakra will "flush" out the weaker one and only the higher ranking Genjutsu will remain."

Breaking from Layered Genjutsu is easy, as you just use the suitable method of breaking from the higher ranking Genjutsu. Say its a A rank Genjutsu, and a B rank combined, it will in total be the rank of the higher one, in this case, A rank. You then just use the suitable method of breaking an A rank Genjutsu, breaking both illusions at the same time."

You can change forests into deserts, change some rock formations, all just terrain though, so if you are creative with it, you can do some cool stuff with it. Let's see what you can do with this."

Neji focuses his chakra in disturbing the clone's chakra and resulting in a cast of an illusion over the clone, in the illusion he changes the surroundings of the clones into super heated area of never ending fire, similar to that of the fiery pits of hell. This illusion traumatizes the clone, hence performing:
"1)This technique affects the optic nerve, that is, what they see. That is why we only control their surroundings. This in itself is a disadvantage as it ONLY affects the optic nerve and not the clone's sensations, feelings etc.
2)We can layer this technique, by using it twice, that is, if we release makibishi spikes and use this technique to make it look like grass, and layer it again to make it look like flowers, even if the opponent uses a D rank pain to his/herslf or any D rank method to release him/her-self, tthey would still be under the first technique, and see grass instead of makibishi spikes, which is another advantage. Other than the limitation of the optic nerve, Our Imagination will have to be limited as it is a d rank technique, hence another disadvantage.

Remember that it wouldn't traumatize the clone since its merely the terrain, it doesn't really affect the clone but is rather just visual based.

Onto the next one I suppose.
I perform 5 handseals and disturb the clone's chakra so as to create a genjutsu illusion of me slowly fading into a pink sakura blossom colour which slowly disintegrates into sakura blossom petals that get carried by the wind towards the clone, through diffusion, spread around the opponent spiralling around him blocking his vision so as to distract him and create an attack.
Advantage+Uses: Blinds opponent visually. Attacks optical nerve. Gives room for user of genjutsu to make opponent give opening for a full fledged attack.
Disadvantage: ONLY attacks optical nerve ie., Simple visual illusion only. Can easily be disrupted by D rank injury. VERY EASY TO IDENTIFY AS ILLUSION. :|
I wouldn't use this on experienced RPers at all. Would use it against rookies only...

I perform one handseal in order to create an illusion of a clone running towards the clone but in actuality I throw an explosive paper tag, the clone under the pretense of the genjutsu falls prey to the explosion and poofs away.
Yes, this i quite helpful, even in battle I can trick the opponents clones etc which makes my work easier.
Advantage: Tricks opponent, if the opponent preoccupies me with clones, this technique is nothing but useful <3. This jutsu will also help if you used more powerful weapons which are projectile like to increase damage? just a hunch. Maybe even custom weapons? XD
Disadvantage: Paper tags can only do so much damage :/ if it were to be used on the opponent itself, though i'll make sure this jutsu stays as a clone repellent only.

"You could indeed throw other weapons, but only the paper bomb will be the one that looks like a clone. Think of this as a disadvantage, the paper bomb only moves in a linear motion, meaning the clone in the illusion would follow its movements and as such, merely move in a straight line towards the opponent. You could use this as a method of realizing its a Genjutsu, or simply see that the clone is not even disturbing the ground its running on, the grass, and such. Anyway, let's move on."

I cast a Genjutsu without any hand seals. I create fake clones of myself, that emerge from the ground, rocks, etc and they attack the clonw. When the clone counetrs the fake, they multiply, and as such, they make diversions for the clone when the original me attack it and it poofs away.
Advantages: As you said, its an amazing diversion creator for me to attack the real opponent.
One Question: If the real me decides to perform a jutsu to attack the opponent, can all theother clones also act like they are making the jutsu? If not, then thats a big disadvantage :| as they can figure out who is real, If it is possible, then jutsu is quite powerful U_U
Disadvantage: Clones made dont affect the terrain, hence the one moving things like grass, making footprints on mud/ sand can be identified as the real one. U_U

Not only would the opponent not be able to see, but also be "attacked" by several clones, one which could be the real you, how would they know its a Genjutsu? The thing about Genjutsu is utilizing your environment to compliment your Genjutsu. Good job though!"

Thank youI perform 2 Handseals to put the opponent into a genjutsu where a swirl of leaves surrounds them and eventually I control the technique to see through their darkest thoughts such that they see what they fear the most. Thus performing:
Advantages: It can traumatize the opponent. Can use it in advantage as it buys me sometime.
Disadvantage: Would'nt work if the opponent is strongat heart, like seen in the difference when kakashi performs it on Sakura during the bell test,before and after they grow up, After they grow up, sakura becomes strong at heart which made her evade the genjutsu easily.

"Not bad, but remember that even though it's a mere D rank, it still has a chance of doing what it says it will even if your character is described as being fearless or is strong at heart. Nonetheless, it's not very effective if you don't know much about the person you are facing, and it is easily recognized as a Genjutsu as well. Moving onto the C ranks."

I concentrate my chakra whilst performing Ram handseal to quickly stopping the chakra flow and top my Spiritual energy thereby disrupting the flow of my Chakra and unbalancing it. thus it helps me get out of an illusion.
This technique is practically genjutsu dissipation, a self method of getting rid of the influence of genjutsu techniques casted on us. As far as analyzing this technique is concerned it depends on the experience of the user so as to how the user can disspel certain genjutsu based on rank.
I dont find any disadvantage in this jutsu other than the fact that you need to have more post counts z.z and take time for it.

"Aha, but there are disadvantages. Some Genjutsu carry the effect of paralysis. If you are paralyzed in an illusion, you can't perform a hand seal to perform Kai, now can you? That limits the technique to Genjutsu that you can break, if you are not constricted. I have a large amount of Genjutsu that paralyzes the opponent in some way or another, so be sure to take that into account before using Kai. Also, one can't break the Toad Chant, or MS/EMS level Genjutsu, that is forbidden ranked. Anyway, good job."
