In these times of peace those fascinated with war and combat grow restless, a man whose parents had died in the 4th shinobi world war comes across the scriptures of the Jashinist cult. Inspired by Madara's philosophies and the legendary Akatsuki he decides to revive the cult. He begins recruiting more members and they kidnap citizens for sacrifice. The disembodied voice of Jashin speaks to them, telling them of the whereabouts of his most powerful disciple. They journey to the forest and slaughter the animal protectors and uncover Hidan's decaying remains. Using the dark arts, they restore Hidan's body and he becomes their leader. Hidan vows to fulfills the dark prophecies of his god, but at this point their powers are far too weak to stand up to the shinobi forces.
Shinobi are dispatched to investigate the disappearances of citizens used for sacrifice, while Hidan leads a search for the corpse of Madara, who Jashin has foretold holds the key to their ultimate aspiration. With Madara's corpse, his Rinnegan eyes can be transplanted into one of Orochimaru's escaped test subjects that they had recruited who possess DNA from all clans originating from Kaguya's bloodline. Using the Rinnegan they can open a portal to the Genesis dimension and free Black Zetsu and the Gedou Mazou from their prison. Instead of collecting the Bijuus, they can use the blood from slaughtered shinobi to create a new source of power for the Shinju, similar to how it was originally created. Orochiamru's test subject, Kimmimaru 2.0, becomes the jinchuriki of the new 10 tails and successfully creates the new dimension Kaguya failed to complete. This new dimension serves as a dimensional bridge between the Yang world, where Jashin resides, and the Yin world, where Naruto's universe resides. Jashin possess Hidan and transforms him into the true 10 tailed beast, a human sized version of the final form of the Juubi except with a more human face. He begins to absorb all the natural energy from earth to power up, and if he is not stopped in time the Earth will die and he will move on to each planet eventually destroying the Universe and becoming omnipotent.

Ashamed of his creation, God sealed himself away in a separate universe, where he could be alone once more, however this loneliness and disappointment worse away at the creators love, turning it into hatred. Wishing to return to his original universe, the reborn Jashin found a way for his demonic will to manifest through the spilt blood of the Ootsutsuki, giving rise to the first Shinju.
Prince Momoshiki, who commanded a powerful empire, demanded the mysterious fruit be brought to him, which he hesitated to consume not trusting the demonic voices that commanded him to consume it. He instead had his scientists break it down into bite sized pills and convert the rest into a bodyguard known as Kinshiki. Realizing the power and immortality granted to him from the fruit was temporary in the pill form, him and Kinshiki left their home planet to search for more planets where Shinjus had been spawned from the blood of the fallen.
Kaguya, princess of the same land, decided to flee with her family from the planet to avoid being ultimately killed in the perpetual wars.
