They? As in women? You should be happy women are still here. I mean, I would my exist without Mother. It is truly a special day.

That person is my Mother, yes. She is the light of my life. I sent her on her spa day, which she'll be back from in a few hours now, because of this day. She deserves that and more.

That person is my Mother, yes. She is the light of my life. I sent her on her spa day, which she'll be back from in a few hours now, because of this day. She deserves that and more.

Then what did you do when her (your mother) birthday comes?

It varies from birthday to birthday as I always want to do even better than last time, so I'll tell you what I did for her last one. We spent the entire day performing various scenes from beauty and the beast via a brand new Disney service. It was an amazing experience. Clearly, she was beauty and I the beast. Disney really goes all out on that kind of things. We really felt part of a fairytale as they had all the food and beautiful places. We weren't in France, but it felt like we were. It was really nice.

And she did earlier. She had a splendid time, but is asleep right now. She is exhausted and I just woke up myself. I'm half awake. She really does know how to say thank you. I'm really tired. I'm going back to asleep. Happy women's day.

Oh, no, she is. Well, not entirely, but everyone loves to have something psychical. The experience was the real great, but rest assured, I did get her a lot of materialistic things as any good son would do. During our little Disney experience, I let her buy anything she wanted. She bought a replica teacup set from the movie to forever remind us of our time there, among other things. Talking about that day has made me quite emotional. One of the best days of my life. From waking up to make her favorite breakfast to the entire experience to falling asleep in her arms that night.

That is a lovely idea. She really enjoyed her spa day yesterday and having another similar day would be amazing for her.

I don't see the need for such a day. Can't we just treat men and women equally good every single day in the year, 24 hours a day?

I was waiting for these comments to come in. Obviously, every day should be filled with equality and love for all, but I was just sharing a day. Sorry if it bothered you. I, for one, think a day like these isn't a bad thing, just like Black History month isn't a bad thing. People should be celebrated for what they had to fight for, obviously every day, but taking a special day or period of time to raise your glass to a certain person or people is perfectly fine to me. All I know is that yesterday I sent Mother on a spa day and she had a wonderful time. I would do that any day, but I wanted to make her have that extra special day because she is the most important woman in my life.

And I was waiting for this comment...Seems like we've both been waiting a lot. Odd. I have no real agenda against it. I was just celebrating. All there was to it.

And no, of course not, but at the same day, it does not happen every day. I help run a motel and although we have our reality show, we do not get a lot money. We are an average, American family, so spa says are somewhat of a treat. If it wasn't special, then what would be the point?

Anyway, I had planned the spa day and it just do accidentally landed on that very same day. It was a surprise and kind of a blessing. The spa I sent her to was doing some special events and discounts because of the women's day. So, sure, it may be what you say it is, but all I care about is that my Mother was treated even more special because of that day. Her happiness is all that matters.
