Shinsuusenju would've been useful against edo madara but there was people there, so he couldn't use it if he didn't want to kill bystanders. But against the juubi TBB it would be useless to stop because it'll blow it up.

As and edo your is power limited. We can see this when madara gets revived with rinne tensei he was pwning mother ****ers with no eyes and hashi cells even before he absorbed hashis sage mode. He was reckin shit as an edo but i felt like he was more of a threat with 1 rinnegan and hashi power was stronger then him with edo/rinnegan/hashi power/ems

Hashirama fought with Madara inside Six Path Barrier at the same time Juubito releasing 4 Bijuudama. When all people got teleport out before the explosion, they are left inside that barrier and get blown up.

i think it was because the statue would've annihilated a good number of the alliance. Even with all of the fists aimed squarely at Madara in their VotE fight, it still managed to destroy a good lot of the surrounding area by consequence. Considering a lot of Hashirama's allies were still in position to have gotten a good enough look at the true size of the pair's mechs despite their distance, using that statue was only a good idea if he was willing to kill allies in the process.

This is assuming Hashirama was at the proper lvl of his ability to use it, and his statement about Obito's power lvl as a jin could be construed as him implying that he was.

Based off Madara's statement here, I'd say Hashi could not use it due to being an Edo
