With the new series coming up, there are a strange amount of people still debating on the old generation. All from love interest to power levels. That is why I wish to talk about the new generation, more precisely, Boruto Uzumaki and his future progress. We got a bit of taste from his abilities during the Boruto Movie but far little was shown to give us an idea of his full abilities.
We know that unlike Naruto, Boruto is regarded as a genius and is a fast learner. Considering the fact that he has learned Water Style, Wind Style and apparently Lightning Style before even reaching the rank of Chunin.This is what I’d call a bright future, as he only has two more styles to learn and he is still young. But there is one thing that heavily resembles Naruto and that is the fact that Boruto can use Rasengan, albeit his own version of it.
Boruto’s Rasengan was named; Vanishing Rasengan and unlike the standard version this one is thrown thanks to the Wind Chakra added to it naturally by Boruto. We also know that Boruto’s sensei is Konohamaru, the grandson of the Third Hokage. This is where I’d say Boruto will have a chance to learn a very dangerous for of combat from. The Third Hokage created a jutsu known as Shuriken Kage-Bushin No Jutsu which uses the same idea as Kage-Bushin no Jutsu on at tools instead.
What if Konohamaru teaches this jutsu to Boruto, that is if Konohamaru even knows it which is very likely. If he applies that to his already existing Rasengan then we may be created with something akin to Rasengan Barrage. Something along the lines of; Vanishing Rasengan Rain or Rasengan Kage-Bushin no Jutsu. Multiple flying Rasengans in the air that vanish? Sounds pretty dope. Aside from that, Boruto still has the ability to master the nature releases he already has.
We know that its normal for a Jonin to have 2 releases, Boruto has already surpassed that and only is a Genin. (Which is remarkable.) We also know that Boruto’s natural element is Wind, which is inherited from Naruto. But he is also tutored by Sasuke who is a master of Lightning and Fire style. That brings me to the second part. What is Boruto learns Fire Style from Sasuke and master it? Using it alongside his natural Wind Release to amplify it?
Many don’t know, but Madara Uchiha’s natural release was Wind and not Fire as most assumed. This was the reason Madara was famous for his Fire Style as he used his Wind Style to amplify it greatly. (His fan uses Wind Release.) Aside from that I cannot think of much else Boruto would benefit from. Sure he can further develop his Gentle Fist but without a Byakugan he cannot use it to its fullest extent.
He also possesses no Kekkai Genkai to speak of and no Tailed Beasts, which makes him a pure Shinobi, unlike his two teammates. (Sarada having Sharingan and Mitsuki a modified body.)
