Using chakra cloak is a viable counter to Amaterasu (that is if you see it coming of course). But in full tailed beast state you're just a big bullseye target, just like Killer Bee was.

He's clearly stating that amaterasu isn't affecting Naruto because of kuramas cloak. Thus he can only use it as a decoy because it does no harm to Naruto at all.

True, I'm not sure why amaterasu doesn't work on kurama's cloak, but it didn't work on killer bee in the 8 tails form, but that's the only time I know of. Someone else already mentioned that though...

No they aren't, they can counter Amaterasu with a chakra cloak but if it comes into contact before they can use it they have no way of stopping the flames. And only perfect Jin can use those cloaks.

Amaterasu doesn't spread so while it burns everything it stays on the point it hit
