@ OT: I think you're right about this, I had the same feeling when I read this chapter. An old guy drinking with Crocus wearing a kasa from Wano? My guess is definitely Oden as well! The timeline still could match up considering that cover arc was chronologically right after the Strawhats returned after the time skip. Chapter 631 where Oden is featured, they are only at Fishman Island but the cover was still supposed to be based even earlier than that. We don't know how long ago Oden was executed or how long Kaido has been occupying Wano. There was actually a pretty fair amount of time in between when the news coo went out for the "From the Decks of the World" cover arc (and we see Oden) to when the Strawhats first meet Kinemon and Momonosuke. Oden might have even known that Kiado was going to invade Wano and went to have one last drink with his old friend Crocus before dying. At any rate, I am super hype for the Wano arc!!!

Oh and @ whoever was trying to say you see his face on the 649 cover page; That's the Shandian chief lol c'moooon like where'd the kasa go

So? Ours was wearing the same hat. Was he from Wano? No. That the hat comes from Wano doesn't even remotely mean that the person who is wearing the hat is also from Wano. That's clearly backed up by the same panels you just posted. That's one thing, more importantly however explain to me how a guy that is being executed is nipping sake at the same time on the other side of the world?

That guy might from Wano, but it's near impossible for it to be Oden.
