I dont think its been stated yet that Aokiji is with BB just that he has dealings with the underground,also Dark King was his title he wasnt a king of any country,just a title the marines gave him like Pirate King,the rest of the examples do stand though anyone in OPverse can be a pirate for a variety of reasons.

I think Rayleigh was World Noble but maybe u are right.
And Aokiji joined BB. Burgess said something like "he don't trust him". Why will he say something like that?

How to read/write the Poneglyphs has been handed down from generation to generation until Momonosuke's father was EXECUTED by Kaidou and Shogun of Wano." so hes not Oden since he is practically dead. /thread

Nah, I mean the warriors are way too full of pride nd' stuff to be pirates,
but this is mostly from how I view their terminology. Like when Luffy said
he'd be pirate king, dragon boy said he'd be shogun.

They seem to be stuck with their own completely different common goals compared
to most of the others in One Piece that usually fall under Marines or Pirates.
