I simply find it "disgusting" and i think it shouldn't be like that. don't get me wrong. I am not searching for gay people and beating them up or yell at them. If i see one, i simply walk by. Ofcourse i would think its better if they didn't dress like that But if it is my son who dresses like that i wouldn't accept it. I would definitly do something about this
Like I said, if you can't provide "Why's" and "How's" then your beliefs are weak and worth nothing. You find it disgusting, why?
You think it shouldn't be like that, why?
It's better if they didn't dress like that, why?
If you cannot provide the "Why's," then your beliefs on the matter are worthless.
If no "Why's" exist, then you are ostracizing your son for no legitimate reason, just on prejudice, which makes you a terrible father.
Wait what? How is he an idiot for disliking his son's taste of fashion? You are being way to extreme right now, almost like the very thing you're criticizing others about...
I've explained that in posts that have come after. I find it idiotic because there aren't inherent reasons to be against that way of clothing. Even when I pointed that out, his answer as to why he's against it is essentially "Just because I am." No 2+2 behind it, no reasoning, no critical thinking to a debate that demands it, to a discussion that actually affect lives. In other words, idiocy.
If this was a light hearted matter, then yes, I'd be taking it too far. But in a discussion about something that have actually led to lives being ruined or taken, then it's dead serious to look at it critically.
