Well you are forgetting that this is a hypothetical version of broly, so its not correct to state his rage would consume his intellect. Considering that the saiyans are quite gentle in Universe 6.

How would bringing out a Broly help matters? If they're not playing fair, no doubt Beerus would join in, in which case Broly becomes a non factor, even if he were at Beerus' level, because the universe is going kaboom anyway.

(Also, i'm pretty sure team Champa is going to win the tournament, that would be better story wise than Beerus winning)
