Itachi is an S rank nin, and so was the rest of Akatsuki.

We all know of their skill...Sasuke has the Sharingan and is Itachi's younger brother, Suigetsu tanked a Bijudama and is the younger brother of the leader of the Seven Swordsman, and Juugo's DNA was involved in the creation of the Cursed Seal which makes him some kind've Wizard. Karin has chakra chains and a mean ***** slap, so she's OP too.

Well, Tobi was the leader of Akatsuki, and he gave them the robes. Therefore, they were acknowledged to be S-rank ninja.

But Tobi said that Akatsuki and Taka would move "as one" and he gave them the robes. And 'Tobi' also slaughtered a bunch of Mist ninja when he was teenager, along with fighting the Fourth Hokage and controlling the Kyuubi.

So he was S rank too.

White Zetsu can make Wood clones which can transform into anyone, drain chakra, and he can also spy on people undetected and use Mokuton. That's S rank.

If you insist...

-Sasuke achieved the Mangekyo Sharingan, can use Amaterasu and Tsukuyomi. He also killed Itachi and Orochimaru.

-Suigetsu is pretty skilled with the Kubikiribocho, which belonged to the A rank Zabuza. However, he also possesses that water body Kekkai Genkai which belonged to the Second Mizukage, who was an S rank.

-Juugo passively draws upon Natural Chakra, which is necessary for being a Sage; Jiraiya, Naruto, and Hashirama all use Natural Chakra, and all three are S rank.

-Karin can heal people just from them biting her, and has god tier sensory abilities. That's S rank ninja stuff.

5) Killer Bee can now train Naruto
6) Juubi is weakened upon arrival
7) Tobi willingly gives Sasuke the EMS
