Weren't we suppose to update to the newer version of vbulliten like... more than a year ago? Whats going on with that whole noise.
I get that naruto is over, but given that naruto media (anime, games, novels, etc) are still going and they're trying to market themselves as "mangabase" essentially, wouldn't it behoove them to update the site? This vbulliten stuff is pretty archaic.
I mean, its not as bad as narutoforums. If naruto forums website was as good as this one, i'd have left here 2 years ago
Also unrelated, we need to find a way to keep moderation more consistent etc. I'll make a separate post, but there's too much of a gulf between the good mods and the bad ones. Just some food for thought.
The version of Vbulletin is only changed when V deems that there are benefits to the site itself by doing it. Just because a new version comes out doesn't mean we should jump right into it mainly because most of the add ons, plugins, edits, definitions, tweaks, settings, etcs that have been applied to this current version for your enjoyment may not be compatible with the newer versions. One example was that when we updated to this version we use, plugins like the Gifts one didn't exist for this version and the functionality of Gifts was lost.
TL, DR: If there is a benefit for the experience everyone has in the site, V will update.
As for the mod comments, if we were as bad as you say, you would have been infracted for advertising another site in this same post. Please abide by the rules and report rule breaking behavior. Your role starts there.

Image only replies are spam. Spam is against the rules. Images abide by the same rules as what you write so if a word is censored, it cannot be put in an image. Cursing, potty mouthing and otherwise using foul language is against the rules. Don't spam and don't use curse words.

If in a thread such as this, the OP doesn't follow the rules nor most of the ones who posted in the thread, how can one even have any form of validity to argue about the staff and moderation?
