I don't really get why so many people are complaining about Raizou's looks. That gives the impression that he had been severely hyped to be an awesome character, but really the only thing that was important about him, was whether he was now on Zou or not. For the rest he is a typical Oda character and like any of his characters, no matter how he acts or looks, you can get fond of him over time. Also to be honest the moment it was mentioned he was a ninja, I expected something like this as there was seriously no way Oda would make a normal looking ninja. I'm pretty sure one of Oda's guilty pleasures is using popular concepts and turn them into something that feels like an uppercut the moment you lay your eyes upon it: Franky's centaur, Pierre the Pegasus, Raizou the ninja etc.
