a forgotten jutsu

We all saw the use of FTG, Shunshin, Ameno and other high level jutsu...but what about a simple technique that could have been very well used to evade the attacks....and this jutsu was used heavily in Naruto part1....yes you guys might remember it too "Kwarimi no jutsu" or "Substitution jutsu". Wouldn't it have been effective in dodging attacks and evading them...hell everyone was so worried about getting outside the barrier during the battle couldn't some people have used Kwarimi with something to get outside......i mean with this jutsu you could substitute a block of wood or even another person in your place...why the hell all of a sudden people forgot about this jutsu...would have save everyone a lot of trouble..... We even got the Hax Izanagi for it....and Danzo just forgot to use a simple substitution........huzzah for the great mind...

Maybe cos that was basic jutsu so it wont effect on high level shinobi.. And i think the right spelling is kawarimi no jutsu

May be it was just some trick to move into a lotaction to hide and cast the object + henge no jutsu to replace your self without making the noob enemy to notice.
So probably wont work against higher level as they are already know where you are in the first place.

That is why shadow clones come in play as another whole new level.

Kawarimi no Jutsu is all about speed and timing since you have to physically move from one spot to another. It probably wouldn't work on someone as fast or faster than you.

This right here. It's like a genin level jutsu that could be used to literally get out of every situation. A great jutsu for the kids to not die when fighting adults, but it looses its luster and becomes an asspull when used by adult shinobi and if done over and over so Kishi just abandoned it.

Um, okay you guys do realize that using the substitution jutsu will not work with the crazy new moves that most of these characters have.

substitution jutsu is just using shunshin to grab an inanimate object and place it where the enemy thought you were, it's not used because everyone important attained top tier speed which meant the death of that rookie tech, shunshin>substitution.
