Flawed logic don't you think? To be a legend in music or your specific genre you obviously have to present marvelous accolades or major contribution.
For example: A Rockets fan may say James Harden is a legend by having one spectacular season but is it true? Obviously not, his achievements are nothing compared to guys like Micheal Jordan, shaq, Larry bird, etc
