The outcomes are arranged based on performance and personality; it's not just handed to you. Someone like CM Punk and Daniel Bryan were arranged to win titles because they earned it through having great in-ring ability and being able to attract attention through their personalities. WWE is a sport because it's still is a competition that is physical.

IMO sports are not supposed to be arranged and won by popularity ....
Its like sayin being king , queen of prom is a sport loll its a teenage thing not a sport ...

Regardless of whether or not you like it, professional wrestling is still a sport by definition. The definition of a sport isn't something you can have an opinion on, it's defined. Having an opinion on what a sport is is like having an opinion on what a cat is. As long as it's competitive and involves physical exertion for entertainment, it's a sport. WWE fills that criteria. You gain popularity through personality and how well you physically perform, which are usually interrelated.

Are you chosen to get the championship? Yes. But you still have to earn being chosen, and you earn it through competition and physical exertion; that makes WWE a sport.

Still each and every other competitive sport is a real competition of skill and physical exersion ( even figure skating )
If all you need to win is take steroid and have a big mouth its not a sport by definition ....
When all you need to do is fake , i wouldnt call that being skilled or hard .... If a 120 pound guy seem to lift a 300 pounds guy (because the big guy jump to make it look like he was thrown) is it relly that much of a physical exercsion ?

Roman don't have great in ring ability at all he is always getting booed by the fans still get title shots. Dolph Ziggler have great in ring performances yet never get a title shot(well he did yesterday but didn't win) to me it's just WWE playing favoritism and trying to make the next baby face of WWE.

I wouldn't know, I don't watch it anymore. Doesn't undermine that for decades, gaining a title has depended on providing entertainment through personality and physical performance.

Well yea and usually by the wrestler with the best upside or most fan service. But that's sceptical Roman has been getting booed for 2 straight ppvs now and still get title shot after title shot. And now we are gonna see a Ambrose vs KO match again.
