Do you believe that Kaguya was created by Kishi's editors?

Kishi didn't bother to give her much of a personality and doesn't mention her much in interviews which further implies that he doesn't care about her. He has said that when everytime he gets a new editor the direction of the story changes(which explains why Part 2 is so wildly different from Part 1). I remember hearing that sometime in the Juubi arc Kishi got a new editor, which could explain Kaguya's sudden appeance.

It feels like she was created to be nothing but a plot device to set up the movies and possibly part 3. A shoehorned attempt to get readers of the main series not think of the new era project as another Dragon Ball GT(which it totally is).

Possibly. I wouldn't be surprised if this were true. Large studios and businesses have a way of F...ing up an artists vision or work when they are trying to make more money off of it.

As much as your Kishi bashing and whining is redundant, this one time I'll agree. Kaguya was easily the worst, and I mean the shittiest, decision Kishimoto has ever made.
