With BatmanvSuperman so close and everything riding on it, it's time to look at how this big gamble might crap out.

The only way it can fail is if BvS tanks in the box office which is near impossible. But the thing is casual moviegoers are the one that bring the majority of the profit. Having 2 of the most iconic superheroes on the big screen is $$$. Everyone and their grandma have at least heard about Batman and Superman. They got 1 billion in the bag, the question is how much over the billion they'll go.

People are familiar with the majority of the JL members, origin story or not, that's really not a problem.

Can't judge the numbers without seeing them first, now can we?

This movie is the origin of the Justice League.

OT: I think its safe to say that the movie will be profitable. As for the quality, that isn't a big worry either. Zack Snyder is a capable director and has shown good initiative with Man of Steel, and from what we've seen, Batman vs Superman.
