The best chapter of re so far. The dialogue between Eto and Kaneki was really interesting. She knows how to take the spotlight with everything she does.

It was really great to see Shachi again and that with Ishida dropping bombs full of information. Putting Rize back into the story with the reveal of being a member of V and getting chased by them after trying to get out, fantastic! Shachi taking care of her like she was his real daughter and being friends with Kuzen is the cherry on top of the cake.

That "No Comment" made me laugh. We all know what you mean with that, old bastard.

Can't wait for the Arima vs Shachi showdown. Arima will win no doubt about that, but i'm sure Shachi will put up a good fight.

Not to mention loving the Q's development, The feels in those panels were just T___T damn, keep doing your thing guys.

Gintoki I agree with everything you say, glad to see Roze back in the game or at least she will be soon, Arima will probably kill good old shachi so might be the excuse for Roze to finally come out from the shadows and Eto is just amazing what else can I say.

The last chapter was really interesting. I think it prepared the ground for the re-introduction of Amon. If you really think about it, Eto was also the one who made Amon suspicious of CCG. The way I see it, Kaneki will also start digging and eventually will seek help by stumbling upon him. I would go as far as to say that this book will direclty help Amon to gather more information

Aside from that, so Ogura has 'higher-up"? So he's not some kind of freelancer so to speak? Interesting.

The cover of the book is also a cryptic one: a stitched mouth? Strange way of incorporating one of your torture fetishes in a book. Then again, it could also have an angry message hidden: the ones that were born without freedom of speech and thus freedom of being who they are.

Quite the poetic panel the one with the butterflies trapped in the spiderweb. Torso is up for some really nasty sexual stuff.

A thing that I don't get though is Eto's sudden change of behavior. Suddenly, she's all altruistic about ghouls but she has mistreated many of them for no obvious reasons other than her boremdom. Like Kanae. I don't know but to me it's like Ishida challenging the way our brains work to see if humans do have such short memory and will immediately forgive someone who showed such a sadistic side.?

Ukina: Did she ever really love Kuzen or was it all a mission? Did Kuzen even know it? Eventually for whom was she working for?

Last but least, it seems that there is no real mystery about Arima. Probably a hybris of V that can pass the rc detectors unnoticed. It's interesting to see how much control was given to Arima and how we all thought that he was a key figure. After all, he might have just been a pawn. A pawn controlling the king of the chessboard, quite ironic.

Its not that hard to make the the connections if you read part 1. I look at tumblr for tarot card info but lol people are misssing out on a masterpiece.

Nah, I doubt Mitsubishi gets white hair or snaps. She was knocked out when she lost her limbs.... at most she might get raped. >_>. I saw a review from some dude and it shows how Mutsuki'so character is very similar to this chicken that tries to be a man off of Berserk. Long story short the chicken gets broken becoming a shell of her former self. Which is convenient seeing how Mutsuki's name means without substance.

Another reason I think Mutsuki won't become like Shironeki is because she lacks the layers that Kaneki has or the hidden self that Takizawa was has. Even if she tries to hide that she is a woman Mutsuki is simply mutsuki.

Its interesting that Eto wanted Kaneki to be on stage with her.

i had something super insightful to say yesterday when i first read this chapter but i forgot to write it down :\

anyways, i think the shachi vs arima fight is going to drop some big details about why arima is god tier in TG
perhaps if arima is a ghoul then maybe his quinques will break and he will be forced to show his true kagune?
either way i don't think its possible that arima will be killed because he is a much larger part of the story than shachi is

regarding V and washuu, i think its safe to say everything Eto said was true
it would be bad writing to mislead readers intentionally
i wonder if V and washuu are co operating or if washuu is submissive to V?

all in all i think we might be in for a wild ride with these upcoming chapters
i really hope they don't short us next week because this weeks was a bit longer than usual

One of the best chapters so far. Lots of exposition, mistress Rize's past is finally shown, and a hype last page to finish it off. Only Mitsuki and Torso were an unwanted part of this chapter for me.

Will Arima suffer his first defeat? If this were Naruto he would.

Ukina: Did she ever really love Kuzen or was it all a mission? Did Kuzen even know it? Eventually for whom was she working for?

Ukina did come to love him, as she herself said. Eto is just demonstrating her twisted perception and falsely drawn conclusions, besides there's no way she could know for sure, what with her never actually seeing her parents.

Ukina and Yoshimura's was the type of love that starts fake but gradually turns real.

Hey, I really dont want Arima to turn out to be a ghoul, I also thought he was a human gifted and at a young age in multiple forms of combat, but now knowing the he's a V agent, I think he's a genetically enhanced human.

But on a side I think must people forgot that the CCG wants to break ties with the V, hance why Haise main mission at the beginning of the manga was to train an investigator that surpasses Arima.

Know I really interested to see where the battle with shachi goes.

But I do believe ppl are underestimating a true fighter like shachi, hope he wrecks Arima shit and manages to escape or at least give Arima a run for his money.

I saw that too and Casca does indeed have many similarities with Mutsuki. Let's see if the similarities continue.

I know what you mean, man - ever since he destroyed Kaneki I started liking him as well, and this chapter just solidified him as one of my faves. Also, I strongly believe he'll give a harder fight to Arima than Eto did - Arima has more trouble against quick and versatile opponents instead of hard hitting tanks, or at least that's what I assume given how Eto didn't even scratch him.

But unless some BS nerf happens (as if, since this is Tokyo Ghoul), Arima should win without too much difficulty. Arima almost negged V14 Kaneki while his regular kagune was

, albeit he was going crazy. Even when Kaneki consciously started trying to hit him, he was completely

], and this was a ghoul that could wreck Associate Special Class investigators with just two kagune appendages. Now Arima's supposedly stronger than before, while we don't know what Shachi has been doing.

I kinda feel like Rize may actually show up during or just before the battle ends. Regardless, all I want is a good fight.

I don't want Arima to be a ghoul either or even a half ghoul
This is my prediction:
Rize is the perfect organ donor for ghoul to human organ transplants
V originally used Rize as a resource to create investigators like Arima and Furuta
Once Rize escaped, Aogiri Tree nabbed her and started to do the same thing however in a much more crude fashion
This is why Arima and Furuta are so calm and collected whereas Takizawa and Kaneki were generally unstable

Dude this Shachi vs. Arima fight is going to be godly.

I think Shachi will put up a good fight, maybe we'll finally see Arima caught off guard in battle. Arima always looks like he has God Mode enabled when he fights, that's probably why he's always so calm and composed. xD
