The moon doesn't need to be attached to the earth because it is was apart of the earth. As for your dimension response we currently live in a 4 dimensional world with the 4th dimension being time. In other fictional series people travel through dimensions which is just a different plane of existence. Lets use the flash for example, he can go from earth 1 to earth 2 via dimensional travel. While earth 1 is different from earth 2 it is still earth. Now bring this back to NV while Kaguya can make multiple dimensions though they differ they are all still earth.

Not really what Kishi classified them as, they're alternate dimensions away from Earth, acid, ice lava etc. Flash traveled to a different time (may as well say universe) the only similarity is these dimensions favor Earth in some stances, but not the same. Get what you're saying, but Kishi lack of elaboration leaves us to hypothesize.

Are you blind? if you were to absorb energy from the sun what do think the result would be? As i said you can neither control it nor absorb it since its not the same energy. NE in NV is only produced because the earths atmosphere converts it and where photosynthesis also plays a big role.
