Boruto is Sasuke's type so indeed he is the right sensei for his growth. Konohamaru can barely teach him things as he is fodder himself. Learning the Rasengan from him was one things but now he has got to hone and mature those skills if he aims at surpassing Naruto.

Boruto has a choice just like Naruto had. Fo. Naruto he had to chose at one point whether he was going to train under Jiraiya or Kakashi and ultimately chose Jiraiya as only he could work with him because they were the same type of people. Boruto has the same options here. He can chose Konohamaru and barely learn anything if he wants to be the Leaf's saviour one day or he can go with Sasuke and become powerful to conquer anything in his path.

Making wise decisions is so crucial these days.
